The new owners are doing awesome - adding several new options to the menu including seasonal items, keeping it open year round, opening the dine in area, making specials of the week, supplying Ginger Bean cupcakes, and making a menu that you can actually look at.”

“Terrapins is truly an amazing restaurant. They use the freshest ingredients, cooked to perfection, and pair that with service that goes above and beyond. The staff don’t just treat you like customers—they treat you like people, going out of their way to make your experience special. For example, they even set up lights outside so I could study comfortably.

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and feels like family. And if you haven’t seen it yet, the back deck is absolutely beautiful (just look at the photo!). It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy great food, and feel right at home.”

“This little gem in Elsah was wonderful from cocktails to dessert! We went for a belated birthday dinner and were not disappointed. The waitress was delightful and food all delicious. We got the shishito peppers for the appetizer and which were amazing! My boyfriend got the filet which he said was the best he’s had in awhile. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and enjoyed that as well. We will definitely be back!”

“the food was excellent but the servings were too much for elderly customers. I ordered a chef salad and when it came out I saw that it was huge! it would have fed all 4 of us. Sadly I had to leave 2/3 of it to go to waste. we were traveling and had no way to keep it fresh”

“Arby's is the best fast food restaurant in the area, top notch staff, and delicious food. I have never had an order that was messed up from them. Very friendly staff and the food is fresh every time. Everything is super clean here. “Sweet Indulgences is perfectly named, and addictivly so. You will never have a more mouthwatering, fluffy, delectable treat as you will with these cakes. The talented artist Michelle, makes an addictive fondant that rivals all competitors. Instead of the fondant tasting like a waxy plastic, it tastes like a spongy marshmallow, almost reminiscent of a twinkle. I have ordered cakes from her for years and have yet to have a disappointment. Her cakes are always artful, beautifully decorated, and absolutely the most delicious cakes I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Everyone in my family now looks forward to their birthdays for cake instead of presents. More so, the cakes are affordable and are so much fun to pick out the next design. Sweet Indulgences is perfect for any occasion you can think of that might require cake. I'm extremely excited to see how she will do my Wedding cake next Halloween. In the meantime I will keep updating my reviews with pictures of her confections and attempting to persuade anyone I talk to, to give her cakes a try.They really are THAT good.”

“I was in town for work and wanted to find a local place for lunch. I found Redbird Deli and it was such a wonderful experience. Beyond the chicken salad croissant sandwich being fantastic, Carla and the other staff members were so incredibly nice and definitely have created a warm and welcoming environment. I couldn’t recommend this local gem enough. If I come back through here again for work, I will DEFINITELY stop again.”
