“We were met by two of the nicest people today. Ichiro and Mrs. Lee. They were warm and friendly, and Ichiro made a recommendation which we obliged. He said if you don’t like it, no problem I will make you whatever you like. He made a recommendation for Ramen and sushi and everything was top quality, amazing flavor, and our new favorite! “This was a pretty decent spot for ramen considering there are not a whole lot in the Lisle area. There is shared parking. They have a decent amount of seating, I don’t think they get super busy. They also have a special Chinese menu so I guess this is a good Chinese and Japanese place. I’ll have to return to try their Chinese dishes. We ordered gyoza, kaarage shoyu ramen, and tonkotsu ramen. The broths were well seasoned. The kaarage chicken was very juicy in the middle and crispy on the outside. The chashu was very tender and little chew. Gyozas were tasty. They had a nice crunch to them. Service was okay, not much of a service. Prices were good.“

“This is absolutely a one of a kind experience! My mother and I did the “Decadent Omakase” as it was our first visit. Lee, our waiter was amazing. All of the staff that helped us were so informative and kind! The flavor in each selection was beyond this world. It was pricey but worth every single penny. I have never had a better experience in my life. The Omakase was EIGHT COURSES. Every one being perfectly curated. I cannot wait to go back.“

“We stumbled upon this gem leaving the doctors office in the area. We seen the menu online and were very much intrigued. We decided to come check it out. The restaurant was a great ambiance, clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Now lets get to the good part the food... We had the combination rice Thai style, crab rangoons, egg rolls, and also the General Tso Chicken , followed by some of the signature rolls. OMG DELICIOUS. The taste of everything was so good, fresh, hot and so good. We loved everything brought to the table. We found a new spot to visit for sure. Highly recommend the food.“

“I have eaten at Tanaka Sushi once or twice a month since 2021, and they consistently serve the best Japanese and Korean food in the Naperville/Lisle area. I am a sushi snob, and their sushi is always fresh and well-prepared. Their cooked dishes are always served piping hot and delicious, well-plated, and the portion sizes are great for the price. The employees clearly have a tight-knit work environment, and they are all always polite. I cannot recommend this restaurant more. You will never regret a Tanaka Sushi lunch.“
