“Stopped by Taktuka Moroccan Kitchen for the first time and was seriously impressed. I ordered the lamb shank tagine, and it was absolutely incredible. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, the sauce was rich and full of authentic Moroccan flavors, and every bite was delicious. You can tell everything is made with care. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and one of the best tagines I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back!❤“

“I really enjoy Mediterranean food and this dish not disappoint. The trio of dips was super tasty and salmon and spinach salad good too and both were plenty to share between two for lunch and arrived to our table quickly. Pricing was reasonable too“

“First time here and it did not disappoint. Boyfriend got a falafel pita with fries and I got the lamb pita with yellow rice. The lamb was very flavorful and cooked perfect. The yellow rice had a great flavor to it. We got the pickled veggies and they were the perfect addition to the pitas. We also ordered a hummus and pita to go and the staff was kind enough to make it when we were done so it was fresh. The staff was so kind and friendly. We will definitely be back. Worth the trek from Romeoville! No photos because we ate it all before I could snag some.“

“Stopped here for breakfast, 1st time and I would definitely recommend it. The service was excellent and the food was great (real, fresh, hot, cooked to order)! I had the sampler with oatmeal pancakes and they were delicious!!! My other options included the chicken avocado crepe and Mediterranean omelette. The coffee was good, it came to the table in its own thermal to stay hot. I highly recommend!!“

There was just one issue — the host’s attitude. She initially tried to seat us with our children in a corner near the kitchen. We asked for a different table, but she insisted there was no other space for strollers. In the end, we found a suitable spot ourselves and were able to sit comfortably with our strollers.“

Without even knowing anything about this restaurant in advance, and in town from Pittsburgh for a youth hockey tournament, we happened to drive by and decided to stop and eat there. Walking in the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was spectacular. We sat at the bar, had a few cocktails, unbelievable appetizers, terrific meals for dinner followed by the most amazing desserts ever. While we were there, we had an opportunity to meet and chat with the owner for a little while. Always a pleasure to talk to someone that is passionate about what they do and appreciates both their employees and customers. It was a fantastic dining experience and I highly recommend this place.
