“First time here and it did not disappoint. Boyfriend got a falafel pita with fries and I got the lamb pita with yellow rice. The lamb was very flavorful and cooked perfect. The yellow rice had a great flavor to it. We got the pickled veggies and they were the perfect addition to the pitas. We also ordered a hummus and pita to go and the staff was kind enough to make it when we were done so it was fresh. The staff was so kind and friendly. We will definitely be back. “Hello Shawarma in Lombard absolutely delivers when it comes to the food! The mansaf and shawarma were amazing and easily the highlights of our meal. This is the kind of food that makes you want to come back and try more of the menu. We really enjoyed everything, and if you’re a lamb fan, I would highly recommend anything with lamb. That would definitely be my first choice on a return visit!

The mansaf deserves a special shout-out—it was a standout dish and something I would happily order again. The shawarma was just as impressive. Both made the visit worthwhile, and I’d recommend coming hungry so you can try a few different things. There’s too much good food here to limit yourself to just one dish!

The fries were okay, but with how much we enjoyed the rest of the meal, they weren’t what stood out. My only real complaint was the service, which was extremely slow. Definitely an area that needs improvement, because the food deserves a dining experience that matches it.

Even with the wait, I would absolutely come back for the food. If you’re looking for great shawarma, amazing mansaf, or love lamb, Hello Shawarma is well worth a visit. Highly recommend!“
