Roti Modern Mediterranean Reviews
Hooray - Finally reopened to total YUM!
I have never been here but I order from here often. I also don't usually write reviews but the staff at this Roti is hilarious. Last time we ordered, my boyfriend ordered extra olives and they sent us an entire bowl of olives with a funny note. However, they had forgotten the cookies I ordered. Which is fine. Things happen. Tonight, I ordered and made a note to remember the cookies.

I ordered the BOGO falafel pita on Uber Eats, the pita and the falafel were hard and stale and gross. I should have known better than to trust a buy one get one sale. But still it should have been obvious while they were making it that the food was going to be awful bc of how long those things must have been sitting out for. I was not even 10 minutes down the street so I know it wasn’t because it was in the car for too long.

Roti Mediterranean Bowls is a restaurant known for its salads, wraps, and bowls. While many customers appreciate the variety of healthy options and generous portions, recent visits have been disappointing. Some reviewers mention that the food bar was out of several toppings and that the overall cleanliness was lacking, with dirty drink machines and unkempt food prep areas. Others note that the food can be served cold, especially at night, and that the ingredients sometimes do not taste fresh, which is a significant letdown. The wraps, often made with roti, have been described as cold, hard, chewy, and difficult to close, especially when the roti is not fresh or warm. One customer pointed out that the roti used as a wrap isn’t suitable when it’s not soft and fresh, leading to a ruined meal. Portions are generally large, and the menu offers a good variety, but the quality of ingredients varies; some items like baklavas lack crispness and have a moldy taste. Service is often praised for being friendly, but issues with food quality and cleanliness have affected the overall experience. Despite these concerns, the restaurant remains a place with potential, especially earlier in the day when food is fresher and more appealing.
