I ordered all dark meat spicy, and they didn't have enough chicken specific to my order. A lady (manager I think) came out and she had two bags, one with part of my exact order (all dark spicy) and another that had the rest of the chicken (dark, but not spicy). She apologized for any inconvenience and offered that I could wait for the full order or I could take the order with the non-spicy part if I didn't want to wait. She was so nice and super helpful. This kind of service is brilliant and super kind. I still appreciate this. Thank you again.“

“I HAD TO EDIT MY REVIEW. Here is the original: Covid 19 or not, customer service is still required. Everytime i call the hours change and there is no bone-in chicken. The last time I called 12-11-2020 person answered phone, i asked to order, he mumbled hold or no. I waited and the phone eventually hung up. I called back twice and it rang until automated answer pickes up. I guess we will never know if they have good krispy krunchy chicken.FINALLY WAS ABLE TO ORDER AFTER A MONTH OF WAITING. DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT! GREAT CHICKEN WITH GREAT FLAVOR. WAFFLE FRIES MAC N CHEESE AND JAMBALAYA ARE BOMB ALSO. AND THOSE BISCUIT ARE AMAZING. Seem the business is struggling in the area and only has one employee so hours are currently limited. Call ahead and order for lunch! So good and good pricing“

“When it comes to wings there’s two big dogs in Peoria. Sharkeys, and Jrs. I’ve tried both and I’d choose Jrs any day of the week every day of the week. I had the 10 piece their BBQ Buffalo Ranch sauce it was like crack hahaha. I couldn’t stop. The wings were Smokey, steaming hot, and flavorful, they got the small wings which are the best. The customer service was top notch, I didn’t catch her name but she was so kind, knowledgeable, and knew what I wanted. Shout out to her. Will be back again! Try them out nowwww!“

“This place probably has the best fried chicken in Peoria. I have been in the lookout for a good fried chicken in the area for a while now and have always heard about the well kept gas station secret Krunchy Krispy chicken but could never try them as the nearest was 30 mins away until Po Boys started serving Krispy Krunchy chicken recently. And I was not disappointed, the food was cooked fresh. Will definitely come back again to try the chicken tenders. Portion size (3 pc) was a lot for one person and do try sprinkling Po Boys cajun seasoning on top of the chicken. It elevates the flavor of the chicken.
The service was however slow even when trying to get a check and that was not because the server was slow but just because she was the only one working in the dining section. But she was kind and did an amazing job. Will definitely come again to try other dishes from the Po Boy menu.“
