“Hello All,We have been driving by this Billie’s Pastries for years. Each time I would say I am going to stop in and try the doughnuts. Well today was that day. I must say they did not disappoint. The doughnuts were delicious. Full of flavor, fresh and simply delicious. I highly recommend you give them a try. “I have had a lot of food from Loafers over the past few years but never had enough information to write a review! They serve a more cafe-style menu during lunch, offering amazing soups, sandwiches and salads. I have eaten lunch at Loafers many times and loved every experience. During dinner service, they serve their amazing pizzas, which I only got to experience for the first time recently. We went with another couple and ended up getting their spinach pizza and their seasonal pizza, which had far too many elements to name. Both pizzas were amazing. The service was great, though they did seem to want to turn the table quickly, understandably, as they are quite busy constantly. Highly recommend this space, as it is not unreasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food and service you receive.“

“I ordered a Strawberry ready-to-go cake 2 days before my daughter’s birthday!! My daughter requested specifically strawberry cake not just a cake with strawberries on it. I had googled places in St. Louis who had strawberry cakes and randomly chose The Cakery Bakery. It was the BEST cake I have ever had. It was incredibly moist, frosting was perfectly sweet but not too sweet and decorated very nicely. I added multi-colored confetti sprinkles they offered. I was in and out very quickly and it was a wonderful experience. I would absolutely recommend The Cakery Bakery!! I cannot wait to try more of your baked goods.“

“Best cupcakes (and quite possibly dessert) you can get in the whole city.
The cake is perfectly moist, and the icing is of the perfect consistency. Strawberry, confetti, double chocolate, and oreo...YUM. I bet you can't just order one.
The staff is terrific and very helpful and friendly. I would recommend you use The Cup for a very special event where you need a dessert...like, perhaps, a wedding!! :)“

“The cutest little bakery. Was recommended to me to try gooey butter cake while in STL and this was the closer place to us. It was busy on a Thursday at 3pm, so you know it’s a staple in the area! So many options, it was hard to choose. The man that helped us was so friendly. The cherry gooey butter cake and cream cheese muffin were SO SO good. I will be 10000% back for another butter cake when back in STL!“

That is hard to do with flavored cheesecakes. Usually the added flavor is too dominant or the cheesecake is sort of sour. They have a loyal customer here. Great job.“

“We love El Chico so much! We asked them if they would provide cookies for our wedding (after a different dessert vendor stopped responding to us), and we are honestly so happy we ended up with them! El Chico was so easy to work with, so kind, and so helpful. We already knew their baked goods were delicious (we always stop for some cookies at the Tower Grove Farmer's Market), but our guests raved about the empanadas. Then I called Sweet Treats from the hart and i described it to her and she made it happen in less than 24 hours! They were more than I had hoped for! Sometimes I’ve gone at 6:45-7am to find out they are already out. “While I can say that it's vastly superior to the other truck stops that I have encountered in Missouri and offers far more services amenities and hospitality to professional drivers and regular automobile driver's alike, it is still a truck stop with inflated prices and all of the strange brands the normal motorists do not encounter in day-to-day life.The showers here were clean serviceable and enjoyable. There is a television room and a small area for people to eat. There is also a small casino area. There is a small criminal element at this particular establishment. But that is to be expected and compared to some of the other elements I've encountered while in Missouri it is welcome in it's sparity.All together I can say that this truck stop is where you would want to go were you transiting from Missouri to Illinois on a normal commute.An excellent establishment.“
