“It’s a semi nice lil spot but could use some HEAVY renovations. The crowd is older so I’m all for that the drinks are on point. However, on my last visit I was at the bar & I accidentally spilled my drink, while trying to pay, and the bartender informed she could remake it but there would be a $10 surcharge (mind you there is no signage of any kind around the bar stating this 🙄)to do so and that was on top of what the first drink cost plus the rest of my order. All I could do was laugh because I’d never heard of something so made up in my life, and for context I have over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry and I hold two degrees in culinary and hospitality management as well. So I guess common curiosity & customer service isn’t in the bartender employee handbook. I allowed her to remake it of course and paid the EXACT amount she asked as she stood there waiting for what could have been a tip I walked away. Please teach your bartenders proper customer service techniques and that common courtesy goes a long way.“

“Took my teenaged daughter here on a Saturday evening (8ish). Very very surprised by this little place tucked inside Belleville. Friendly laid back atmosphere. There was karaoke, some video games and good food. My daughter said that the wings were good. They were certainly good sized.

The cheeseburger, however, was one of the best I’ve eaten outside my house in the past 5-6 years. I make some pretty fierce cheeseburgers on the grill at home, so I’m never blown away by restaurant burger as they usually mess up one aspect of it. Geo’s nailed the cheeseburger.

Oh…and bill for a dozen wings, 1 burger, fries, hush puppies and two drinks was $40!

“Phenomenal Experience! The staff was very tentative and supportive when it came to my pregnant wife’s needs. The smoked meat will leave you quite satisfied. Highly recommend! “We come here once a month & have always had great food & service. Today we had a horrendous experience with an employee! My boyfriend found a hair underneath his chicken & fries, he took it up to the counter & told the guy working the front counter. His response was, "What do you want me to do about it, I'm not the cook!!!!" We then asked him his name & for the manager, but he refused to give us his name or the manager. He proceeded to "mother f***" us even. Then starts in on another customer. I could not believe he treated us that way! He wouldn't give us his name so I took a photo of him. Completely disrespectful & Canes needs to get rid of any employee that treats their customers like that when the customer has a valid complaint like we did. We did call corporate so they will be looking into it. Shame on that kid!!!!“

Cooked perfect every time! He just came back for a MRI and this catfish is what he asked for when we told him he could have anything he wants. We all love the food here!“

“The fish and fries were really good, but the gyro salad wasn't very good at all. It has just plain ice berg with raw green peppers and tomato slices with meat (not sure what type of meat it was). Everything was in huge pieces which is hard to cut up with a plastic knife. The lettuce included a lot of the center which was quite bitter. I'm not sure what the dressing was, but I had a couple of other people try it and it was not edible. I would eat there again, but I wouldn't get a salad for sure.“
