“We went last Saturday for the first time and there weren't any tables available, but it was a short 10 minute wait. Figured it must be good if we had to wait for a table. It wasn't just good, it was phenomenal!!!! My son and I both had breakfast entrees and my niece had a turkey sandwich. Absolutely wonderful experience. Our server and her daughter both work there and both were friendly and amazing. It's a bit of a drive for us, but it will be on our list the next time we're in town.“

“The Arabic Sage tea was amazing! I could drink that daily. I grow Sage, but this Sage was out of this world good. Combo platter was delicious. Hummus was some of the best I’ve eaten, all 3 meats were cooked to perfection, salad was crisp and fresh. The 4 sauces that came out first with pita bread were very flavorful. The owner is super nice, I will be back. 5 stars!!! This restaurant came highly recommended to me by several people, I now know why. Keep up the great work!“

The food was great, and the quantities were ample.
The menu selection was good, and there were plenty of appetizers available.
The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. We had about 10 or so people in our party and the wait staff was very efficient in getting us serviced in a timely manner.

“Had bad service on delivery and the driver lied to me. Pizza was wrong so I had to wait for my correct order and they made me give back the first pizza that wasn't correct and the driver said they will probably use it again. But I know they will just throw it away cause it was aty place for 40 minutes. Lies!!“

I don't even know where to start... This review is mostly about their delivery partner.

I just moved to Peoria, and yesterday, after 8 hours of lugging heavy boxes and furniture up 2 flights of stairs into our apartment, we decided to treat ourselves with a local pizza place.

So I called for delivery because we're sweaty and exhausted, and the employee tells me they only deliver through Doordash.

Crap. I hate Doordash. Nine times out of ten, there's an issue with the delivery. I picked a pizza place, because they usually hire their own drivers.

But we're too tired to find somewhere else to order, so I bite the bullet.

My Doordash order gets here, and of course, there's a whole pizza missing from the order. Typical Doordash. I called the restaurant and he confirmed that the pizza was still sitting there. He offered to call Doordash for a re-delivery, and I said sure, thank you.

Well, 7 phone calls back and forth with Doordash customer service, they told me 1) They'd re-deliver, 2) Oops, they couldn't reach the driver 3) Do you want a refund? 4) Oops, we can't process a refund 5) I'll ask my supervisor for a re-delivery again 6) This time I had to call, and they told me they had to "escalate the issue" 7) It is now the next day, and they tell me they have to "escalate it" again to a different team.

So now it's the next day and I'm still without my refund and without my pizza.

2 stars for the food, because what we did receive was very tasty, but after the day we had and the added stress from Doordash, I don't know if we'll ever order here again. Maybe we'll try a carryout order, but between us working crazy First Responder hours, I don't know if we'll have the time.

“As a person that grew up on this type of food. this is the most authentic and most savory food in the area. the rice is very good and when u get the mixed grill, the kebabs melt in ur mouth delicious. the falafel is the most on point in the area of peoria. even the sald is soooo good!!!!! the kebbah is seriously the best I've ever had. the shawarma is so good it just makes u wanna come back for more. “Walked in and immediately smelled smoke, not the good kind. It smelled like an ashtray. We ordered fried green tomatoes and they were pretty decent. Then came the 3 meat platter, We had the chicken, pork and brisket. All the meats were pretty dry and had 0 smoke flavor. It reminded me of that store stuff you microwave. Pork was mid. The brisket was off tasting, more like pot roast. The chicken was the worst, no flavor at all and very dry. The baked beans and mashed potatoes were good. Don't know if it was a bad night or what but probly won't be back.“

“O my goodness I won 2-10 in gluten free crusts pizzas on a Facebook post. Thank you thank you! My sister and I whom I tagged to win in the post, went for lunch on Halloween and had 2 amazing pizzas!! And amazing cold beers with many choices of beer. The barbecue chicken and one with homemade sausage were both so delicious and the gf crust was amazing! The waiter was such a friendly, happy chap that we so enjoyed visiting with. My first visit and I’ll definitely return. Thank you thank you!!“

“We have eaten in or we have preordered for carry out at least 2-3 times a month. Never had a bad pizza since they opened about 8 years ago(2015) at Peoria North location. The Pizza is always HOT! You pick up your pizza from the bar, and if you get there and your pizza is not ready from a call in, they offer you a drink from the bar as a complementary, wait. 5 stars any way you ask!!“

“Amazing food and service! LOTS of food and when you get it you get your food and a separate plate so you can build your plate with your order(if that makes sense). Egg rolls were good and both meals we got were amazing. My wife had general two's chicken and I had tripple delight. Again both were fantastic. The menu is full of entrees which gives you tons of options to try. My daughter loved that you get hot tea served at your table as well. If you like Chinese and tired of the buffet you have to stop in here for an authentic Chinese cuisine.“

I usually leave a decent tip but after this experience I left $2.00. Our food was watery and had poor flavor. Food was good then, they fell off at times, but I wanted to give them another chance because the other food places in the mall either aren’t open or they cost too much. In total, I’ve been 3 times in 2 weeks. Bourbon chicken stays consistent, rice is as good as it was in the early 2000’s. Never had their Crab Rangoon and it was fresh and tasty.
