“This restaurant was pretty good. They seem to mix Japanese, Thai, and Korean flavors which is very unique. The tonkotsu broth was good but I found it weak. I liked all the topping they added to. It makes the Udon taste better. This place is good if you're craving some unique Asian flavors. I probably would come back if I'm craving Udon again!“

“This place is legit. We came here for the Korean Sashimi experience. I wasn't expecting much since this place is in a pretty unassuming strip mall but the quality of the fish is what did it for me. I believe the owner buys an entire tuna and expertly slices different parts himself. I had the best tasting sashimi here. And as much fish as I have had in my life I found myself asking the waitress what part of the tuna I was eating. First time trying Tuna jaw meat and it was astounding. The amount of toro grade tuna that was served amazed me. Service was a bit slow but with high quality fresh fish that they serve all was forgiven. 5 stars all the way.“

“Mori Sushi got me all confused after the first bite. It was about 9p.m. when we arrived, and I was surprised it wasn't jam packed in here. Nestled in the Cedar Ridge plaza on Algonquin Rd. with plenty of parking, come check this place out for some authentic sushi rolls and Nigiri. We tried these rolls as pictured: Rainbow, Nigiri, Kamikaze, and Ceviche. None of these rolls were spicy to me and each was absolutely delicious. I finished things off with the fresh cucumber salad and enjoyed it very much. The Kamikaze roll was my first bite, spicy tuna and sweet sauce, but it wasn't spicy at all. The ceviche roll tasted like a fun ceviche would, with the cilantro and avocado. Everything was fresh and flavorful, but slightly warm temp for my liking. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. Anything with the crabmeat is not gluten free, and they do have Tamari sauce. You'll probably be asking for More. I had two rolls, salad, and my husband had the Nigiri and Rainbow roll. The total was under $100 for us both and worth it. Edit: came back again for the Crazy & Sexy rolls. The Crazy roll had tuna, salmon, avocado and some chili oil in a delicate packet of goodness. I was impressed with the sexy rolls in cucumber, what a refreshing treat! The tuna, salmon, avocado, and radish were rolled in cucumber slices and marinated in a tangy/savory black pepper vinaigrette. “I ordered a bowl for pickup through their website. I chose crab sticks for my main protein. Extra $1 each to add avocado and crabstick salad. It was delicious and the sushi rice was hot. Bowl was ready at their estimated time. My only complaint is that they forgot 3 of the ingredients that were written on the receipt: pineapple, mango, sweet onion. There was no extra charge for these so I wasn't too upset about it but forgetting 3 items in the bowl is kind of a lot. Next time I'll order there inside the restaurant.“
“Delicious food and the outdoor seating is great! They changed our reservation to outdoor when I asked because it was too loud inside. It does get very busy and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, but the service was still really good and we didn't mind waiting a bit longer since the food is great! “This has become our go-to sushi spot, especially for delivery. A couple weeks ago I placed an order and they accidentally gave me the wrong roll, so I called and let them know. The person I talked to (I assume the owner but I didn't catch her name) said she recognized my name from the order and will give me the roll for free next time. I didn't think she would actually remember until a couple nights ago when I was going to order again and called the store just to see if she remembered. Right when I told her my name, she remembered my order and told me she would send it. “My husband and I split a large bowl which came with two proteins and was plentiful . We ordered the Spicy Chicken breast and the Teriyaki Chicken and had them over vegetables.. the Chicken breast was not spicy enough for me but the teriyaki was very flavorful. The vegetables available were broccoli and cabbage and We enjoyed their fresh taste. I ordered an egg roll but it was nothing special.We tried the hot sauce but did not care for the flavor. I will just have to bring my own hot sauce .“

“I drive about 40 minutes at least once a month to eat here. The drive is absolutely worth it every time. I refuse to eat sushi anywhere else because it will never satisfy as well as Shima’s. I have been going here for about 5 years and the food and service never disappoints. They are like family here and I always leave with a full stomach and a smile on my face. The sushi chefs are VERY conscientious of food allergies and modifications are not only recommended but often accommodated. We highly suggest the edamame with garlic, salt and spice. Delicious!!
