“Highly recommend the river catfish nuggets, we had taken a little getaway road trip to eat here and take a hike at the Garden of the Gods. This place was just the perfect treat, sweet/unsweetened tea, Pepsi products and a classic “River Restaurant” menu. Also, my fiancé and I both agreed, best hush puppies we have ever had lol. Catfish nuggets were perfect, nice flaky inside and delicious crunch on the outside and they definitely give you a plate full! Lol you will not leave hungry!”

“This place is amazing! I'm so glad we found a little watering hole! The tap is cold and the pool tables are cheap! They have great house sticks and plenty of cue and hand chalk in a little basket. Outside for the smokers is awesome! Cute plants plenty of shade and they have fans, lights and citronella candles to keep the bugs at Bay. My FAVORITE THING IS the bartenders have SALT on every table so your napkin won't stick to your drink! This place really is ACES! Really makes you feel at home!”

“My cousin Randy and I ate at Smoke on the Ohio in early July after taking a road trip out of Evansville, IN and the food was awesome. There was one young lady who was the only waitress and she was busy as it was one pm, but she was very friendly and did a great job and we didn't have to wait very long for our food. We both ordered double cheeseburgers with bacon and they were fantastic. We had an order each of deep fried mushrooms and I had onion rings and my cousin Randy had fries and everything was tasty. I walked out of there with a smile and a wobble I was so full. I like old buildings and I along with my cousin liked the atmosphere, the service and the food. I'll make another road trip and I'll be eating at Smoke on the Ohio again. Donnie Boyle Jr”
