“Great food, Fast! Definitely not ordinary “fast food.” This food is made with that little extra bit of love that truly makes it an amazing dining experience that can be enjoyed by the entire family without having to travel. The food is truly terrific with something for everyone. The staff is always friendly with smiles on their faces. The Philly is my personal favorite, but after the Philly I would recommend the BBQ, Italian beef, Ruben, fish sandwich, chicken and dumplings, and the burgers are also amazing as well!! It is literally all amazing and you will not go wrong no matter what you order!”

And my daughter got two scoops of birthday cake ice cream with gummy worms and sprinkles which she loved! And we got 4 bottled drinks all for under $20! “I love authentic Jamaican food, and when I see The Caribbean Hut Food Truck parked in the parking lot of the Staples store in Carbondale, IL, I always stop for some good food. The owner, Freeman, brings the flavors from his restaurant located at 300 S Maple, Cambria, IL 62915, to Carbondale and surrounding areas on the food truck. Let me tell you something: the food is fresh, hot, and flavorful! The service is always friendly and prompt, the ambiance created by eager customers is lovely, and the portion sizes are plentiful. I can usually eat my meals for two days. The food truck menu varies weekly, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend you stop by when you see this little food truck in town or head to the restaurant. When you go by, tell them Kindra Speech sent ya!”

“I went to The Vets for the first time Friday, July 2nd. Such a fun place!!! Great bartender, Kristin!!!! She's quick and funny and everything you want to keep a bar full and happy!!!! Very, very clean place!!! All the work they have done is amazing!!! The back patio looks like it is going to be THE place to hang out!!! Beautiful facility!!!! I live several hours away, but hope to come back soon!!!”

First time trying BJ's Garden Inn Cafe. Had the Sunday lunch plate which is two pieces of fried chicken, white or dark meat, plus two sides. Pictured there are three side because I did not order the carrots. Our service was good, the waitress was great. The food was what I would call average. There wasn't anything bad or wrong with it, just not 5 stars.
We both had the Coconut pie for dessert, it was amazing. Completely homemade down to the crust itself, which was very good. We had Sunday lunch plates(2), drinks(2) and both had pie for dessert and it was under $34.00. Definitely worth it. We are looking forward to trying breakfast there soon. This place is a small town, old time diner. Worth a visit....”

“This is THE BEST! No, it isn't a place you really eat in, but if you want fresh home cooked Cantonese dishes, there is no place better. You walk in to a place that's kinda like nana's parlor. Then you are greeted by the chef herself. She is fantastic, very nice, and an excellent cook. The prices are very fair for the quality and amount of food you get, because you will have some leftovers! The eggrolls and crab rangoon are unbelievable (and heat up well the next day in a toaster oven.) Go try this little hidden gem!”

“I have been going to this establishment with my family since I was a child when I was younger it was the old Rome different building and there was a restaurant on one side and then more of our atmosphere on the other side and time things changed now it's pretty much just a bar setting and as an adult I love to live close to it and be able to go down there and enjoy my free time”

“Wow, I can't believe this place is still open. It has probably been over 25 years since I visited this place. It was a dive bar on one side, and a strip club on the other side. But lol, they have probably remodeled the place since the last time I was there. I never actually went to the strip club side though, lol. I woukd just go to the regular side, with just a bar, and a pool table, to play a few games of pool. It might be completely different then the way I remember it though. I rarely went there, to be honest, but a lot of my old friends visited the strip club, and talked about it. But anyways, it is so cool to see that this place is still open. I was born and raised on Carbondale, and this place just brings back memories. Long live JB's. Hope everyone around there is doing well.”
