“I love this place! Drinks and food are always amazing. They often have seasonal drinks. Lots of milk alternatives available. Everything is clean! The staff is super kind and helpful. The playlists are 10/10. Everyone I bring here feels the same. Would definitely recommend.“
“Of all the places I've tried around the city, Taste of Colombia has the best coffee anywhere in Chicago. My favorite part though is the wonderful people who work there! I feel super fortunate to have them just two blocks from my house. Make sure to give them a try!How cool this place is! They have the best coffee and desserts in all of Chicago, but the best thing is the people who work there. Many thanks to Naima, Toni and Alejandra. Always a pleasure to spend some time with you every weekend!“
“The owner - Tim - was so friendly. I stopped in for a pastry & he asked if I wanted any coffee to which I explain I don’t drink coffee at all! He asked why & explained it wasn’t really my taste in general nor did I drink caffeine. He then proceeded to make me a decaf charlatte on the house simply to show me how amazing coffee can taste. I’ve purchased it since ;) 11/10 recommend this place!!“
“Found this gem while walking to my apartment and I have to say this coffee and tea shop is the cutest place I’ve been into, defiantly buying some merchandise from here. I’m a coffee and tea lover so I’m definitely coming back for more.“
“We stopped in one afternoon to Harmony Coffee Bar. You know what harmony is ? A combination of things or parts that forms a connected and unified whole. That just about sums up our visit to this adorable cafe. I ordered the Gold Crush Latte which is topped with Dalgona which melted into the latte giving it a slightly sweet and mellow flavor. My companion ordered an iced Gold Crush Latte so they could enjoy the Dalgona as it slowly released its sugary cookie flavor into the coffee beverage. As we savored our drinks in the pleasant and cozy seating, they prepared our Croffle, a combination of croissant and waffle, and it was crispy and buttery and caramelly. All in all, a harmonious mix of flavors and textures that added up to a very pleasant midday interlude.“
“I absolutely love this coffeehouse. Great atmosphere with a European vibe, and really unique, delicious lattes. The owner clearly cares about his business and his offerings and is always nice to chat with when I stop in. Super knowledgeable guy who wants you to be happy with his shop, and I always am, even if I order the same drink every time 'cause I'm an addict at this point. (Iced caramel latte! They use a powder and it makes it so smooth and rich.)“
“I literally want to find a nook somewhere and just burrow there like a rat and sip on their coffees every morning i wake up. Loyal patron of MetroRoa since 2019 and just got reminded why Ill continue doing so. Coffee is delicious, wake you up without that palpitation Hulk vibes. Customer service always off the charts, shout out to Hunter who gave us a great talk during our visit. Drove from NYC and had to make sure we stopped by. Recommend getting a bag of their cold brew roast, and take a free cup of nitrobrew- you will die and come back as 2.0 version of yourself.“
“Jimmy is the best! My partner and I have been going there since we moved to Logan Square, and we love the coffee! Today when we tried to get coffee, they were unfortunately closed. Jimmy was so kind and gave us a bag of beans to make up for our driving out, which he definitely did not have to do! Such a kind soul. Love Jimmy Beans! :)“
“I've known for a long time that I can get a great cup of coffee in a pleasant and upbeat shop at Perkolator, but today I learned that they're also a woman-owned business on their Instagram page, so I wanted to hop on here and say, thanks for the great coffee and service, Perkolator. And also thank you for highlighting being woman owned. You rock and I'm celebrating your success today and always.“
“Overall Thoughts: I liked the vibes of this spot— very industrial, yet comfortable. The coffee menu is expansive and a bit intimidating at first, but you can’t really go wrong and nothing is too expensive. I ordered a Niccoiola Freddo, which I found pretty tasty, frothy, and had a nice balance of sweetness. I also tried a cherry danish, which I thought was just okay-- not as good as I was hoping.—Price (relative to peers): 4.3/5Drinks/Food: 4.3/5Ambience: 4.7/5Service: 4.7/5Overall Value: 4.3/5“
“Cozy little shop, I don’t drink coffee often but I was happy there were non-coffee drinks and the bubbly mango and dirty coke drinks were so good. The bubbly mango was surprisingly refreshing and the dirty coke tasted like a rum and coke except it didn’t actually have rum so I can’t wait to go back!“
“We love their beans (especially the light roast). Some of the best coffee in the city. We usually buy their beans to make coffee at home, but every time I've been to their walk-up window, everyone has been very friendly and brewed a good cup of coffee. Grateful to have you all in the neighborhood!“
“Good coffee and good prices. I was very impressed with this place. The staff was very friendly and got my order out quickly even though they were busy. It was very busy when I got there and the atmosphere was great.I’m not sure if they have a pet day because there were lots of cute dogs! Would highly recommend.“
“The ambiance is rustic and old-style themed. A lot of woody vibes all around. I ordered an almond milk latte. I was surprised to see the look was good but taste was a bit dark and too much. The beans were good but tasted burnt. The notes of the coffee were not as sweet as I had thought they would be. Overall, the latte was smooth and velvety but lacked in taste. I would say a few tweaks and the coffee would be better.“
“The music is on point. You can receive an Ethiopian pour-over (IFYKYK and omg). The owners are mega knowledgable and truly care about your tastes. Five stars if you're into independently owned shops, a feeling of community, original lattes, and are delighted by the color pink. Also, pastries.“
“It's ok, definitely a lot of seating relatively speaking for a coffee shop. You're standard $6 cup of coffee these days. The vibe is pretty cozy. However the only downside is there aren't enough outlets, probably only 50% less of seats have an outlet nearby.“
“this place is a vibe plenty of spaces to come and work or just chill. the coffee is really good; I usually get iced lattes, but forgot to ask for it iced and actually really enjoyed the hot coffee. the coffee was ready pretty quick and they were having a small rush, which I appreciated. the place is big enough where there were one or two people on zoom calls, but I couldn't really hear them with the general ambience of the coffee machines and the music. very lowkey, really enjoyed this spot. also, there's a parking lot in front so don't worry about parking“
“2-15-2024 I wish they put the name of the staff in the receipt. The staff member a woman with a white sweater was very professional and had attention to detail , took my order for my preferred items and recommended two others. I spent $84.97. Thank you for being very good at what you do.“
“lovely spot! friendly staff, unique drinks (black sesame latte is a must) with common asian flavors, hosts lots of community events. lots of pastries, and they're starting to make filipino dinner plates too! just make sure to check their Instagram account for their updated hours.“
