“Hit up Atelier Restaurant for dinner last Saturday in Lincoln Square. I did the tasting menu and splurged on a wine pairing—loved the beet-and-rutabaga courses and that butter-poached whitefish—flavors were poppin’. Vibe felt cozy but elevated, servers were super chill and knew their stuff. Would totally come back.“

“Can’t recommend Cariño enough! Michelin quality Mexican-inspired fine dining in an intimate setting. Perfect balance of fresh, herbal, spicy, savory, umami, sweet, and salty. It was complex, with an indescribable amount of detail going into each little component in all of the 14 courses. (Also got to try Huitlacoche for the first time, a mushroom-like corn fungus prized in Mexican cooking for its earthy, truffle-like flavor. 👌 An absolute delight!!) The cocktails and mocktails were mind-knowingly good.
Absolutely excellent service. I recommend the chefs table. The chef is very friendly, and the staff is impressive to watch.
They did a great job at accommodating dietary restrictions: no alcohol, no gluten, no dairy.
If you’re into a stuffy atmosphere, this isn’t the place. This place is laid back. No stringent dress code, which is awesome.
Simply indescribable food! Some of the best I’ve ever had in years of trying various fine dining establishments. Still thinking about how amazing it was even days later. Definitely worth the price.“
“Chef Devon and his team are phenomenal hosts. The meal prepared by Chef was a 5 star experience. I would highly recommend trying Loon if you haven’t yet.“

“Alinea is a must-experience for anyone who loves fine dining. It's food theater that subverts expectations and will challenge how you think about the dining experience.
The dessert is the standout dish-a truly impressive conclusion to a course that often feels like an afterthought.
That being said...Alinea's experience relies heavily on surprise and mystery...the food is still excellent, but without the surprise factor weighs heavily into the experience...at the end of the day, some of their dishes, while still good, are fairly average compared to other 3 star places...they're just presented in an interesting way.
Luckily, the service and environment make this worth the experience and thr cost of entry.“

“Great service 3 dinners out of four ok My steak was ordered rare and it was prepared properly except the quality was not as it should be for a high end steak restaurant at the cost. There was absolutely no marbling and no fat leaving the NY cut tasteless and chewy, and very difficult to cut. I also ordered it boneless, but it arrived bone in. I believe it was a choice grade meat not at all near prime. I would not order steak again, but stick to their hamburger which is always acceptable. I would suggest if they are going to serve choice meat that they at least sharpen their very dull steak knives. Clean kitchen & restrooms.“

“If you’re looking for a top-notch steakhouse, The Palm is where it’s at. I had the most incredible dinner here, and everything from the food to the service was absolutely terrific. The steaks? Out of this world! Perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and bursting with flavor. You can tell they really know what they’re doing back there.
The vibe in this place is on point—classy but not stuffy, and the staff? Totally on it. They made us feel like VIPs the whole night. Every dish we tried was a home run, and the portions were seriously generous. Plus, the cocktails were killer, like, we’re talking next-level good.
If you’re in Chicago and craving a seriously good steak, The Palm is the spot. Trust me, it’s legendary. You’ll leave stuffed and already planning your next visit!“
