Service was excellent. Noisy group next to us but quiet when we left. Asparagus appetizer was delicious as was salmon. Steak was overcooked but manager offered a redo . When we refused she comped us dessert - also a standout. Great ambience outside. We'll go back.
Great place in Evanston. Kitchen closes early on Saturdays so make sure to have a reservation by 8pm. We have great service and wine price was very affordable with good selections. The burger was great and the watermelon salad and mushrooms were amazing too . Great option
Lovely evening dining outdoors. Especially enjoyed the mezze and summer spritz cocktail. Great service also.

The Moroccan-inspired dishes, including mussels, chicken, and lamb, boast great presentation and seasoning. The mussels are a great choice, and the tagine has improved, now offering a flavor as good as it is in Morocco. The burnt cheesecake is a must-try, and the dessert is perfect. The ambiance is amazing, and the service is well paced and friendly. Guests also enjoy the variety of seating options, including covered and heated outdoor areas, making it comfortable even in cooler weather. The menu is diverse and interesting, with options to negotiate tasting menus and take home desserts. The restaurant's location in downtown Evanston at the intersection of Davis & Orrington streets adds to its appeal. Overall, it is considered one of the best restaurants in Evanston, offering excellent food and service, though vegetarian options are limited. The fries and profiterolles are also highly recommended.
