Pâtisserie Coralie Reviews
Great corner for watching Evanston go by.
My campus organization got our Formal catered by Coralie and were incredibly pleased! The service we received was phenomenal, as the owner (Pascal) was very communicative and flexible when we needed to change plans. He spoke with me to coordinate the order and even provided delivery. Pâtisserie Coralie is a highly acclaimed bakery in the Chicago area, known for its exceptional coffee and a wide selection of fresh, authentic pastries and macarons. The establishment is praised for the quality of its offerings, with customers particularly enjoying the almond croissants, quiche, and Kouign-amanns. While the service has been described as inconsistent at times, the employees are generally reported to be friendly and welcoming. Despite the limited seating, the bakery is a popular destination for those seeking a delightful café experience or grabbing delectable baked goods to go. Customers often mention that it is a little French jewel and a must-visit when in Chicago. The bakery is well-loved for its delicious croissants, baguettes as good as in Paris, and cozy atmosphere. Visitors should be prepared to wait, especially during busy times, as the staff can be slow, but the quality of the pastries and coffee makes it worth it. The ham and cheese croissant is highly recommended, and many enjoy stopping by for an afternoon snack or takeaway. Overall, Pâtisserie Coralie remains a favorite spot for authentic French pastries and a comforting café experience.
