This Peet's is usually quite busy as it is situated squarely in the middle of downtown Evanston. I would say the most outstanding feature of this Peet's is the service. Everyone is uniformly friendly, prompt, and helpful. Lots of smiles. Seats may be hard to find as Northwestern students usually plant themselves in their tables and stay there for a good part of the day. I dropped by the place for the first time. The order was two Havana coffees with cinnamon and condensed milk. While I was waiting for my order, i took a glance at the service guy adding condensed milk into coffee more than its reasonable amount. So, I asked for him to add less milk into second coffee and all will be well. However, the guy threw out the cup and started his job all over again. Great place to sit and chat, also good for work. Me and a couple friends ordered frappes. I got the caramel frappe and it was honestly better than starbucks in my opinion and for about the same price.
