“Visited this establishment today after reading so many positive reviews and I was not disappointed! The Beef Sausage was very flavorful & fulfilling and the Corn Beef panini was good also. I absolutely loved the decor that displayed our beautiful legends and heros. Customer service, 10 out of 10 ! Will definitely support them again.“

“I lived in Hyde Park from 1999-2012 and The Snail was always our favorite. I’m back in town for the week and saw that they were still open, so I ordered myself some drunken noodle and had a little picnic at The Point. It was the same lovely owner handing me my food and the noodles were even better than I remembered. I almost cried, my food was so good! Thank you!“

“I think this was the owners of Daguan noodles that closed a few months ago, the menu is the exact same with the same workers. Love love love. I was heart broken looking for Daguan noodle and saw that it was closed. Luckily we agreed on this place and realized it was the same place just in a different location and new name ?“

“The only reason i gave 4 stars is because the food was good & our waitress, Shannon was amazing. The host on the other hand, was on her phone & didn’t even greet us or say bye when we left. If you hate your job, just let someone else be there because as the front of the business , we should feel welcomed & happy to be there! Thank you Shannon for making up for what she lacked.“

“If you’re craving some legit Thai food, Rice & Noodles should be on your list. The pad Thai is straight fire—tangy, flavorful, and the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The spicy basil chicken? Don’t sleep on it. It’s got the right amount of heat that’ll have you reaching for your water, but it’s so tasty you won’t mind. I spent around $30 for a generous serving of pad Thai and basil chicken, plus a refreshing Thai iced tea. The vibe is chill, and the service is always on point, which makes it a great spot for a quick dinner or a laid-back meal. Definitely coming back to try more items on the menu!"“

“Always a must stop on my way to or from the Brookfield Zoo. I don't live in the area any more, but when I visit I always try to hit up Mr. Submarine. I don't know what it is, because at face value the ingredients are just OK. But when you get that shredded lettuce soaked with vinegar and oregano, and the not quite sure what kind of cheese it is, mixed with a true sub roll and solid deli meat. It's a beautiful thing. And the grumpy guy behind the counter, he's been there for 30 years. Different faces over the years, but it's the same guy. Just part of the experience. Never change Mr. Submarine.“

Walking in, you're welcomed by two doors. The outer door slams, leaving you with a jolt of fright and embarrassment. The inner door opens you to what can be described as a small ma and pop shop with two visible tables and 4 seats each; making this a carryout spot but, leaving you with a seat or two if you're on lunch and looking to rest for a bit while eating. I'm pretty sure this was the first time I've eaten food from this restaurant but I am certain, after tonight, it won't be the last.
When it comes to eating Chinese cuisine, I usually have to prepare myself for sodium overload. That wasn't the case here. Every dish prepared for us was cooked perfectly. I could actually taste the other flavors they cooked into their food aside from salt which I've come to associate with most food from Chinese restaurants I've eaten at. The Orange Chicken was also really really good but, diabetics beware, it is extremely sweet; so make sure you have that insulin pen ready for after your meal. I should also mention that their food portions are very generous.
One other thing of note: I scheduled my food to be ready 30 minutes before my arrival. I showed up 5 minutes early and they were still cooking my order. The owner explained to me that they made sure to cook the food as close to the time of arrival as possible to make sure it's still hot by the time I got home with it; given that I show up on time. Most places just cook and let it sit until you show up so I think that was really cool of them.
All in all, I really enjoyed their food and if you're looking for a small ma and pop place that values good and fresh food, you've hit the nail on the head here.“

“This Olive Garden has always been one of our go-to spots for me and my kids who love coming here! The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it’s always been a great place for families.
On our most recent visit, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the manager is actually a client of mine! She went above and beyond to take extra care of us, which made the experience even more special. That said, even before we made that connection, we’ve always had wonderful service and enjoyable meals here.
Big thanks to the entire team—and especially the manager Samantha for making Olive Garden feel like a second home for our family. We’ll definitely keep coming back!“

“Not sure why the lower ratings. I have never had any issues with this place and have been going here for at least 10 years. The smoothies are great, everything's fresh and flavorful.
Kung Pao, bourbon/orange chicken, beef fried rice and whatever else I'm currently forgetting.
You can tell everything's fresh made because there are variations to the ingredients, but ultimately it's all the same.“
