“We recently attended an engagement party at Goldie’s. The party was originally scheduled as an outdoor event but was forced to go inside at the last minute. Goldie’s ownership allowed the party to use their location, opened early and provided bar service for all attendees. All with less than 24 hours notice! Claire, the bartender, came in early and was exceptional. Highly recommend for special events or to just stop in for a drink!“

“Gracie O’Mallys provided the best food and drink experience I’ve had in a long time in the city. The atmosphere was fantastic, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service from our server, Tina. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was at the table every few minutes making sure we were NEVER thirsty. She had a smile on her face the entire time and was such a pleasure. “As a tourist the night shift was good. Went during the day got a huge hold in my card for 1 drink. Ordered a second, stepped outside to smoke someone picked up my drink and snaked right after I went outside and the bartender acted like this was a normal thing. Embarrassing! (Edit) The bartender did make an effort to go out of her way to make sure I felt accommodated after the incident and took what I had to say to heart. Preemptive review, exactly that. Not too shabby. The service throughout the day was quick and kind, despite a larger group than anticipated. The back patio is always a nice vibe, and prices are fair. “Tumans is a great spot, nestled in the heart of the Ukrainian Village, at all times of day. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is top notch. Personally, I do not think there is a food establishment that the servers and bartenders seem like great friends, both with each other and with patrons. “We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena.
