“Forest IL is a very small town. I was stuck here for truck load delivery. I walked about 0.6 and saw this beautiful small restaurant. I have enjoyed here chicken taco ?, which was so good and delicious ?.”

“I can't say enough about this house it very nice and big. we had a great time in this house over Christmas the tree was huge and very pretty we just love older homes. Tiffany was amazing answering all my questions and making my time here great and putting a TV in the bedroom was a plus we appreciate that. I plan on making this our Christmas thing each year coming back to this wonderful place. Thanks for opening up this house for guest”

“Haven’t been here since they changed owners. Always lived in the area but never gave them a chance until today (after I’ve heard multiple great experiences from people that live up north). My friend and I both ordered an italian beef sandwich. They were made fairly quick & tasted phenomenal!! I definitely got my moneys worth coming here rather than going to the local coffee shop for my sandwich in Piper. Also, their drinks are very affordable! 2 crown & cran drinks for only $11? Those mixed drinks also tasted amazing! Definitely come here!”

“Went for the fish fry they advertised on Facebook. It was real good! Three good sized pieces of fried cod, loaded mashed potatoes and coleslaw for $13 and change.

My friend and I I ate at the bar, and had a couple of beers. They don’t have draft beer, and they didn’t have MGD or High Life. We settled for Busch Light, which was a great complement to the fish.

The bartender was nice and attentive. It was quiet enough for my friend and I to have a pretty serious conversation.

I hope they do more of these fish fries, but would prefer they be on the weekend!”

“ordered our first pizza. got wings and 2 pizzas, $32. felt the wings were small and didn't get many. flavor was good for spicy one. pizza was more like a medium sized but tasted good not greasy. ingredient amount was awesome. Will get again. loved how you express your love for God on box.”

“My favorite hometown pizza place. Super thick crusts and amazing tomato sauce. The cheese nugget pizza is really good too. I love the BBQ Chicken and sausage pizzas the most. Also, disclaimer, thick crust does not mean Chicago-Style deep dish. It means you're getting a super thick piece of crust, a little crispy on the bottom, soft inside.”

“Can’t beat the fried walleye on Friday nights. Update: 5/10/2023 They just posted on Facebook they will be closing. No date listed.All you can eat $12.75 with two sides. Cold beer and friendly staff. If you’re driving down Route 47 take a trip into downtown Saunemin for lunch or dinner. A different lunch and dinner special daily. Update. Went back 9/23/22 still same great food. Price for Friday all you can eat Walleye has increased to $13.75. Still a great deal.”

“Went in around 8pm because its the closest to us and didnt feel like cooking. I am horribly picky due to my pregnancy and the kid behind the counter was so patient with me, even offerring suggestions tbat I might like. Afterwards, he made me a blizzard that i absolutely loved! And right now, this grouchy mama hates everything. Shoutout to Colton and the other girl working with him tonight who were just amazing.”
