“We were here this weekend & ordered our usual breakfast sandwiches & I had Chai Tea. Today, I ordered the most delicious Mushroom Brie soup (I know, who wants soup in the summer, but so good!!) I also ordered the Turkey Club & could only eat 1/2 of a 1/2. It was the best Club sandwich & on sourdough bread!! PS my birthday was Saturday & my grandkids got me the wonderful homemade Blueberry pie, the only thing I ask for every year!!! Thank you to Bodi’s for being the best place around!!!💕🥧🍰🍩🥪“

“Had my daughter’s baby shower cake made here. Julie was so easy to work with and gave me great advice. I had several guests who needed gluten free and Julie and her staff were able to make the whole cake gluten free. It was so delicious that my guests thought it was the best they’ve had. “If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I cannot say enough good things about Sweet Discoveries. First, when my grandfather received a terminal diagnosis over the summer and we decided to hold a small elopement ceremony so he could be there to see us get married, it was very important to us that he got to have our wedding cake. With about 5 days notice Cindy committed to getting us a smaller version of our wedding cake for my grandpa. Words cannot express how much this meant to us and to him.
We still went through with the larger celebration in December with the rest of our family and friends, and Cindy provided the most beautiful cake and most delicious sweet treats to go along with it. The entire process - the tasting, ordering, up until the day of the wedding was so easy working with Cindy. I cannot recommend her services more. She certainly has a lifelong customer out of us. Thank you so much for everything!“
“Best local Mexican snack shop in all of the greater Round Lake area! Doesn’t matter if you’re trying to get healthy and lose some pounds (like I did) or just simply trying to satisfy a guilty pleasure, they’ve got you covered! Family owned with friendly customer service. Stop in and explore all of their options! They have it all from freshly prepared Mexican hot food in the morning to tortas, paninis hot off the press, tamales, shakes, fresh squeezed juices, custom made juices with no limit on ingredients, homemade ice cream, sweets, candy, drinks, snacks, custom cakes, etc, etc! They also do private events. Best part is EVERYTHING IS FRESHLY MADE! Oh, did I mention they’re prices are very affordable too!“

“For five good tasting pastries it was only $12. That's not bad at all. They have cute stands and set ups. HUGE place, wish it had some music so it wouldn't be so awkwardly quiet trying to find something to get 😅 Trey was very patient while I decided what to get. Thank you.“

“I grew up in the neighborhood behind Lovin Oven and have been going to this bakery since it first opened. Everything I have ever tried here is amazing!!! Classic and delicious, everything is a decadently sweet bite of nostalgia. The cakes melt in your mouth, highly recommend the mint chocolate one! The danishes are a wonderful sweet treat. The chocolate mouse boat is heavenly!! I'm not a fan of sugar cookies but I even like theirs! And pro-tip: if you like banana cream, order a banana boat!!! 🤤 It's not on their daily menu anymore but you can order it in advance for pick up!“
