“We were here this weekend & ordered our usual breakfast sandwiches & I had Chai Tea. Today, I ordered the most delicious Mushroom Brie soup (I know, who wants soup in the summer, but so good!!) I also ordered the Turkey Club & could only eat 1/2 of a 1/2. It was the best Club sandwich & on sourdough bread!! PS my birthday was Saturday & my grandkids got me the wonderful homemade Blueberry pie, the only thing I ask for every year!!! Thank you to Bodi’s for being the best place around!!!💕🥧🍰🍩🥪“

“Had my daughter’s baby shower cake made here. Julie was so easy to work with and gave me great advice. I had several guests who needed gluten free and Julie and her staff were able to make the whole cake gluten free. It was so delicious that my guests thought it was the best they’ve had. “Cindy made us a beautiful wedding cake. She had a wide variety of flavors and frostings to choose from, and encouraged us to explore, mix and match. We weren’t fully settled on a design during our appointment, and she spent time helping us narrow down choices. She was warm and friendly during our meeting, and the cake was a hit. We had originally tried the banana crème flavor, and my spouse had enjoyed the cake but not the frosting. We asked for a strawberry crème substitution for our wedding cake, and it was perfect. She was very knowledgeable in giving us estimates of how much to order for our guest count as well. There’s also a lemon green tea flavor on the menu that we don’t usually see from other vendors— everyone at our wedding, including my spouse fell in love with it.“

“Best local Mexican snack shop in all of the greater Round Lake area! Doesn’t matter if you’re trying to get healthy and lose some pounds (like I did) or just simply trying to satisfy a guilty pleasure, they’ve got you covered! Family owned with friendly customer service. Stop in and explore all of their options! They have it all from freshly prepared Mexican hot food in the morning to tortas, paninis hot off the press, tamales, shakes, fresh squeezed juices, custom made juices with no limit on ingredients, homemade ice cream, sweets, candy, drinks, snacks, custom cakes, etc, etc! They also do private events. Best part is EVERYTHING IS FRESHLY MADE! Oh, did I mention they’re prices are very affordable too!“

“If you LOVE LOVE Tres Leches, milk cake, or you've never tried it then this is the place. As you know when you get this Mexican gem you have to buy a whole cake which cost about $25 and you're stuck with a whole 🰠which I can and do eat, happily. This bakery sells single slices of this yummy tasty heavenly cake.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this bakery. We have used them for many events and I love being able to actually head into the shop! The kids love going in and picking out a sweet treat! They had some great selections for Valentine's Day and the chocolate covered strawberries were to die for! 😍 Everything there is so delicious and they never disappoint. The staff is always helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend for special dates as well we've ordered several cakes for birthdays and they're awesome.“

“My daughter wanted to heart shaped cake for her 19th birthday, the experience we had at Lovin Oven Cakery in Round Lake was amazing. The staff there took their time capturing the details she wanted in her cake. The cake turned out so much better than I could think AND it was DELICIOUS -“
