“We have been going here for a while. The other breakfast places around here are nothing compared to whistle stop. The food is always fresh, hot, friendly professional staff and every guest is treated the same which makes us feel comfortable and wecome. I have not had one bad dish everything is great. Their fries are really good too. Keep up the good work. My kids love you guys!

The energy, creativity, and uninterrupted space to be authentic without judgment. We enjoyed listening to several talented young artists freely perform and enjoy their music. We were so lucky to be part of the audience tonight. The owner, Alex, is one in a million—such a zen space. We enjoyed our coffee and tea and appreciated the love that went into it. “I just went there to have a meeting with a coworker and absolutely loved the service and the atmosphere. The empanada was still frozen when they served it to me but the server was so kind and gentle and immediately gave me another one that was well cooked and didn’t charge me for the wait and inconvenience. I call that consideration and good business practice! Will be back again!!“

I just had 2 eggs over easy and they were truly farm fresh jumbo eggs. I am a Chef of 40 years and have never had a better restaurant experience any time than Kim & Patty's of McHenry.“

“we love coming here for breakfast. great atmosphere, employees are always upbeat and in the best of moods. generous portions for the prices. variety of choices. I have my favorites that I rotate through. I in particular love the gyro skillet. if I have a sweet tooth I get the belly buster, the choice that has the pancake and add strawberry and whip cream. the pancakes are FLUFFY, so good. our baby always gets a scramble egg on the side and she pretty much launches at my hand while feeding her so apparently I need to start cooking with butter at home or whatever they do. we always leave full and talking about how nice those people are on our way home.“

“I have been to Stellas at least a dozen or so times. I can only speak for myself and share my experiences. There have been at least 4-5 different people working upon my visits. The staff have always welcomed me to the establishment an have always asked me if I wanted something to drink and or something to munch on at no cost to me no matter how much I ate or drank. That being said I’m sure there’s drinks or eats at a cost. No persons or employee has ever watched what I did or how much money I spent. I know it’s called gambling for a reason. “Wow, just WOW. Words cannot begin to describe just how pleased I am with my dining experience. Friendly staff, great food, and amazing atmosphere are just some of the things that contributed to my unforgettable experience. Not only was there little to no wait time, the workers were very patient and kind towards me while I was ordering my food. After receiving my food, the least I can say is that I was simply blown away. The portion sizes are immaculate and the flavors are unlike anything I’ve had before. I will definitely be returning here for my future meals and I can’t recommend it to others enough.“

I have made a habit of going on a Friday or Saturday evening, Jackie the host is what keeps me going back, she is a big draw for this establishment, she goes above and beyond for the guest and seems to greet most by name, many have told me they go there to visit with Jackie and play some slots. So nice to have a great adult entertainment close to home.“
