“Lately, I have had trouble finding great tasting, local food. A lot of places have that frozen dinner, mass produced taste. However, Asian Fusion was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the orange chicken and crab rangoon, something basic to determine if it is worth coming back. Will definitely be coming back to order other things off the menu. The rice appeared fresh and did not have any hardness or that leftover the next day and reheated quickly feeling. The orange chicken was amazing, and had a bit of a punch to it that I have not tasted anywhere else. Even the broccoli had snap and was not overcooked or soggy looking. The dinner came with a free egg roll which tasted just as great. It is connected to a rolled ice cream shop as well, and the person working the counter was also rolling up ice cream for other diners.“

“Trying a Chinese food restaurant for the first time is always a toss of the dice, consider China City a safe bet because theyve been serving top notch food for as long as I can remember and manage to maintain the same quality this entire time! They have some tables for dining in but it doesn't really speak to the quality of the food they're serving, more set up for carry out“

“Szechwan Palace is a charming small Chinese restaurant in Antioch. Currently, the atmosphere is a bit disrupted due to ongoing construction, but it still retains a cozy and inviting feel.

Food: I have visited Szechwan Palace numerous times and always enjoy the food. The drunken noodles and egg rolls are my favorites. On my last visit, I tried the Kung Pao beef, which was quite good but could use a bit more wok flavor. The soup, while tasty, could benefit from a bit more spice and the addition of shiitake or Chinese mushrooms, a touch more sourness, ginger, a hint of sugar, and some rice vinegar to enhance its flavor.

Service: The service at Szechwan Palace is consistently very good. The staff are polite and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Overall: Despite the current construction, Szechwan Palace remains a delightful spot for authentic Szechuan cuisine in Antioch. I look forward to returning and seeing the progress on the renovations and AUTHENTIC ASIAN FOOD !!!!!“

“This place is great! Tried it after being disappointed with the McHenry area Chinese food restaurants. It was worth the drive.
I had crab rangoon, pork egg rolls, chicken mei fun, chicken lo mein, and mixed veggies. The pork rolls were delicious and fresh, crab rangoon was crispy and flavorful. Everything was just really tasty and fresh. My favorite was the chicken lo mein.
Will definitely come back!“

“Just ordered from there, half food was cold, most tasted steamed to no flavor beef in chop seuy and fried rice was not chewable, messed up the order and over charged me, I got 10 pounds of food that I threw out, never again“

Friendly staff, great food, and amazing atmosphere are just some of the things that contributed to my unforgettable experience. Not only was there little to no wait time, the workers were very patient and kind towards me while I was ordering my food. After receiving my food, the least I can say is that I was simply blown away. The portion sizes are immaculate and the flavors are unlike anything I’ve had before. “The restaurant is pick up only and the front is run down and even a bit dingy in appearance but the prices are great and the food is REALLY good! When we moved to McHenry 10 years ago we had trouble finding Chinese food we liked. Finally friends suggested checking out China House.“

“Went for lunch today, Sunday. I found the price to be reasonable, and the selection of food excellent. Have 2 suggestions: 1. The soup was very hot, excellent. However, the food was not. Lukewarm at best. 2. I skipped several dishes because I had no idea what they were. Signage very poor. The staff was very friendly and I will definately try it again. (I love buffets, but I also love my food hot.)“

“Been here quite a few times over the years. Today we had the house special chop suey, shrimp fried rice, bbq pork fried rice, crab Rangoon, egg roll. Everything was cooked so well and was tasty and delicious! Food was definitely the best we've had from here.
