“Love Panda Express! Okay, so it's not authentic Chinese food, but hey! Where can you get that, unless you go to China, which most of us can't do. The food is both fresh and well prepared; the wait staff are friendly and accommodating, this little eating establishment is clean, quiet and a lot of very convenient parking. Oh, did l mention the prices? Great by today's standards...so what's not to like? Probably one of the BEST locations in Lake County!“

“This is a takeout-only spot, as all the tables and chairs have been removed. That said, I really enjoyed the food. You can tell it was prepared with care, and the quality exceeded my expectations, especially given some of the mixed reviews. The ingredients were fresh, and the food was served piping hot, which made for a great meal.“

“Amazing customer service! We arrived late to pick up an Uber take out order and realized they were closed upon on arrival, regardless the cashier noticed us and gave us our order. We have ordered very often from them and they never disappoint! Food is delicious and their staff is always kind. They also use reusable bags for orders. 10/10“

“I haven't taste my order shrimp egg food young, but if it's as good and tasty as the orange chicken, the broccoli cook perfectly just how I like it cooked, also the steam rice also perfectly not over or under cooked or sticking together just the way I liked! I'm not from here just a overnighter I'll be coming back the next time here in Zion, Illinois.“

“Ive only been here once so take my review with a grain of salt but I have to say, this is one of those "food>environment" establishments where the heart and purpose is in the food. I had ordered the Kung Pao Chicken w/ Rice. I waited about 7-10 minutes in the lobby waiting for my food. I loved that my container was full to the top but do have to note that I wish the meat to rice ratio was a bit more balanced, but nonetheless, not enough to knock off a star. What I also did note that was different, was that my chicken was mixed in within my rice instead of how I've been accustomed to, which is receiving it in 2 separate portions. Which in no way is to be taken as a negative, I just thought It was different and gave the meal a sense of solidarity throughout the flavors which really let the sauces stand out and play their role really well. Going back to what I had said about the food slightly overshadowing the environment, I firmly believe that the food here is made with love as it seems to be family owned and operated, but I would love to see some improvements to the dining room and hospitality. But then again, I do understand that this is one of those 'in the cut" hidden gems that capitalize & rely on their faith in their good wholehearted food, which I do not blame at all. I definitely do see myself coming back and am excited to try out the rest of the items there. I give it 4 stars as I cannot in good faith give it 5 without trying their pepper steak or orange chicken but look more than forward to updating it in the future.“

“The food is so awesome. We no loner live in the area. So it’s a shame you can no longer eat inside the restaurant, when we come back to visit. So we ordered 6 beef fried rice meals to go and we packed it in a cooler to take back to our home. For various family members to enjoy.“

“this was our first time here we thought we were going to dine in but The dining room is closed. It was never reopened after Covid. We had the orange chicken, which was really tough. Don’t know if it was old but the shrimp fried rice and chicken sweet-and-sour was very good. I would recommend this restaurant.“
