“I made my first visit to Prime Sushi & Ramen today. It won't be my last. I ordered negihama maki (yellowtail roll) and salmon roll for pickup. My order was ready on time, the portions of fish were high quality and generous, and they got my special request (no wasabi) right. I haven't had the dine-in experience yet, but they occupy the former Amore Mio space, which is lovely. I'm delighted to have another fine restaurant in that space, and I look forward to becoming a regular!“

“We have been going here since it opened. The sushi is solid. There’s a good variety of roll types (spicy, raw, tempura, etc.) that are all tasty. The fish tastes fresh and the sauces are appropriately seasoned. Rachel is the standout. She always goes out of her way to make us feel welcome. She knows hospitality and how to get patrons to come back. Go check out sushi u and try the crazy summer roll or the green dragon.“

Went here for daughter bday. Its been awhile and new things being offered. The quality of the sushi isnt the best but its ok. Prices went up a little since we were there years ago which is to be expected.“

“I've eaten at many good sushi spots and this is one of my absolute favorites for so many reasons. Everything is sooo fresh, portions are large, and the staff is great(ask for Liam, he's the best)! Liam is especially great to making sure kiddos have a great dining experience too and is very attentive.“

“I went to Wok n Fire for my first time tonight and got to experience it a little differently with it being the first day you are able to dine indoors since COVID. Our waitress, Stacey was absolutely amazing! She gave personal recommendations and even traded out my girlfriends wine that she didn’t like. Great food and delicious!“

“If you want authentic food an amazing experience then this is your go to. The owners are hardworking and they do everything themselves. When you come here, you will be greeted by the hostess/waitress with a smiling face. A sweet Japanese man will be making the sushi and a lovely woman in the kitchen preparing with love all of the hot dishes. It is places like this that I love to eat, quite the opposite of the corporate chain restaurants who give you minimal while charging the max. This place does the opposite. You get the full value out of your dollar and it is well spent. The freshness of the sushi and the flavor of the chicken yakitori are second to none, because love is an ingredient that is not often found in restaurants anymore. Please do yourself a favor and bring your family to a restaurant that you will feel wholesome while filling you up.“

Food is exceptional they serve large portions
The server that we have was excellent in the atmosphere was spot on. They have Booth seating you can sit at the bar or you can sit in front of the hibachi grill and hopefully your eyebrows don't get singed lolol the cooks put on a show so there is a little bit of flame involved. We were sitting at least 10 ft away from one of those grills and felt the heat I am surprised that people have their little children very close to that fire from the grill
But other than that everything was excellent and will be coming back very soon“

I like that the dish came with your choice of 3 side items. For the combo platter would be nice to have an upcharge to substitute plain rice for fried veggie rice 😁“

“I been coming to Sushi King since I moved to Algonquin back in 2017, it's one of my favorite sushi places. Since I work from home I will sometimes go on my lunch break for a quick sushi lunch. My wife prefers hot food so she loves the Raman and the Udon noddle's which are really GOOD! I like to go with just my wife but I have also taken groups of friends as well, great service each time. I love the Angel Roll and tuna salad is fantastic! I hard recommend the Algonquin Sushi King from it's great staff to the amazing food. In the last 8 years I been eating there about 50+ times and each time is great! The Raman is perfect right as wintertime sets in here in Algonquin.“
