The best thing was our greeter at the door she had 4 legs and a wagging tail.... the neutral decor throughout is very welcoming and relaxing 9 beers on tap and a full bar gives a great selection. The overhead doors bring the outdoors inside so it gives plenty of seating. The hops growing outside is a nice touch
Finally was able to make it out here to Generations as I am doing a job now just 10 minutes away near Pecatonica. I brought a growler to fill and the bartender was awesome and let me sample a few beers so I could decide which..... which was a hard choice with so many great brews. Ended up with a 6 pack of No Promises which has an incredible smooth flavor but my top pick for the growler was the POG Pils- an insanely flavorful fruit pilsner. The brewery itself is very nice. Love dark coffee and chocolate stouts. The coca nuts was pretty good. I loved tje flavor. Not too thrilled of the bitter bite but after a few sips I rather enjoyed that part too. Will definitely have it again. The atmosphere is warm and sharp. I went when there was no one else and that's what I like. But I bet this place gets packed on the weekend summer nights.
