Jamie, the owner, kicked us out of our table. It was a table for 2 & could fit 4. We were told to sit anywhere and the only table open was the table we sat at which was an open 4 seater. Jamie started to grab our stuff, I told her we were sitting there, she said I need the table, I told her again we were sitting there. After a few minutes, we grabbed our stuff and moved. 10/10 would not recommend going there after the interaction with Jamie lol if she would’ve asked us to move that would’ve been completely different. Also, there were open boxes of wine all over the floors.
All the staff members EXCEPT FOR JAMIE were great. If she’s there I’d recommend leaving unfortunately.

My partner and I were visiting Galena for the first time and saw a wine tasting advertised. We approached the bar and, reading that the tasting included 10 wines, asked the bartender if we could share a tasting since I was planning to drive later and my parter doesn’t have much alcohol tolerance. He kindly provided us a glass and pointed into the adjacent room for the tasting.
We were about to receive our first wine when a woman accosted us, asking where our second glass was. We explained that we were going to share each pour, and she stated that wasn’t allowed. Dumbfounded, I asked why sharing would be problematic, and she snapped that it was against her policy. Sensing that this woman, who I will note failed to introduce herself at any point, was both unreasonable and obtuse, we opted to forego the tasting and vacate the premise.
I am no stranger to wine. I have had tastings at some of the most respected wineries in Napa, as well as at first and second growth chateaux in Bordeaux. I have also been to many wine stores/tasting rooms across the United States, and have greatly appreciated sharing conversation with owners. Never have I been treated as unprofessionally and disrespectfully as I was at Jamie’s.
To tourists of Galena, I would implore you to visit any of the other numerous wine shops in town that would appreciate your patronage.
To the people of Galena and surrounding communities, I regret that Jamie’s is an unsightly stain on what is otherwise a welcoming downtown.

What an experience! It felt like we were in Jamie's family room for an open house party - great cocktails, fun crowd full of quirky stories, cool staff, and Ted the dog. Little pricey, but good quality drinks. If you're open to an evening of frienldy, quirky converstaion, this place is a must. But if your looking for a quiet evening alone, this isn't the place for you.

I would recommend putting a sign in your window that says no dogs allowed. You mislead the public by putting a dog on your Facebook page sitting at your bar. Someone I care about very much wanted to come and visit you and was excited for a long time only to be scolded and ran out when she showed up with her dog. Please know it’s sometimes not what you say but how you say that matters.

I typically like to make a stop here when in Galena, but the last 3 times we have been here on Thursdays, we arrive to find out it's randomly closed. If you're going to be closed on Thursdays, you should update your hours to reflect that.
Cute little wine studio tucked away on Main St. We just wandered in and before we knew it hours had flown by. Great vibe, amazing bloody Mary’s and the owner was fabulous! Also…..Ted

What a gem!! We were in town for a bachelorette party and some of the girls had popped into Jamie’s during a scavenger hunt & they told us how sweet and kind she was so we went back to see for ourselves. They were pretty busy, but they said there was a big table in the other room we could sit at. It was wonderful!! Almost like a private party in the middle of the afternoon. The drinks were just fabulous!! They have a great Bloody Mary & an extensive martini list. There were also bourbons and lots of wine on the menu. Jamie’s will now be a staple stop when we visit Galena. Thank you Jamie & Linda & Ted for such a wonderful experience!!

First time visiting this place and I had such a wonderful experience here! Jamie is great and very personable. I felt like I was talking to someone I knew for a long time. She gave a wonderful recommendation for dinner and went as far as ensuring we got in to taste this restaurant’s wonderful food.

The owner is such a delightful woman. She is engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. This was our second visit to Galena and we knew it was top of our list of favorite spots. We had the Bloody Mary both times and they are delicious. Prepare to sit back and enjoy.
