“I can only speak to their breakfasts but they make one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. Stuffed with filling, evenly spaced ingredients, thin tortilla with a nice sear. The chorizo and the regular both are fantastic. The burritos in themselves make me come here. But I also return for the fabulous service. They're always fast and friendly. Great little neighborhood spot and one of our favorites for breakfast!“

“A great breakfast and lunch spot in downtown Marengo. Fresh ingredients for bacon and egg breakfasts, oatmeal and other breakfast staples Wonderfully colorful California cobb salad, crisp lettuce, fresh avocado etc. Our server on this day was attentive, friendly and informative, coffee filled frequently and food brought quickly. The owners here have 30+ years experience at this location and know how to treat customers. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large.“

“I really love this place! It's your typical small-town breakfast/lunch place with a twist...a passageway to the bar next door! Sunday morning breakfast there is even more special with a Bloody Mary (: Food is delicious, and the plate comes to the table in plentiful portions. Prices are fair and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. Most folks dining are regulars, but no worries, whether it's you first time or 100th....the experience is always the same, SATISFYING. Get there at 5 am when they open and listen to the farmer chatter. You might learn something whilst filling your belly.“

“This is a great small town place with extremely friendly service and fun events on different nights of the week. Taco Tuesdays are tasty and light on your wallet. In the cold months there are a variety of apple pie shots to choose from. We enjoy Mort's regularly!“

“Ya cannot go wrong with anything on the culvers menu. This place holds so much nostalgia for me but even without the fond memories the food still is good quality. They have consistency, quality, and good flavor in everything they make. It feels fresh and yet it’s still considered “fast food”“

“First time there. The food was ok, atmosphere was decent, the service was amazing. Melissa was amazing ? , she is only reason I would go back, good service is hard to findUpdate. I went in the other day because I had such a great first experience with out waitress n the service we had, but went in the other day and WOW all I heard is like screaming from the kitchen from what I would assume is a supervisor or manager screaming at an employee saying " I will ? you and send you home early today".......yeah AWKWARD I turned my self around n went home. No one should threaten or talk to an employee like that EVER smdhNever stepping foot in this place again, lead by example n treat your employee's with respect, unacceptable at all, shame on you!!!!!!“

“We were here on a Saturday afternoon that wasn't very busy. Our server was attentive and patient with our group. The food was fabulous. I'm probably lucky to not live close enough to come here and get the Italian Beef Wrap all the time.“

“Becoming more of a dive bar which is kind of sad. Food good as always, A CRIME that the waffle fries were replaced by generic cafeteria fries. Also look up the review by “Sand Serpent” or search “burger” I have never seen a more woke idiot in my life. Really gave me a laugh and def keeps me coming “

“Food was delicious. They offered everything, like regular or sugar-free syrup & they even had powdered sugar, which I prefer on my pancakes. When I asked for decaf hot tea, she asked if I wanted green or black! My husband had pecans in his waffle & I had Swedish pancakes! So much variety! Waitress was so pleasant! Quite busy when we got there & I can see why! Walls lined with historic pictures as well as a row of antique sewing machines.“

“The all you can eat riblets were amazing, even my kids loved them. I like the range of sides for the kids menu. Melissa was great and made sure we had everything we needed. We got our food fast and we were very happy.Kid-friendliness: The entree and side options for kids is great. They asked if we would like our kids food first since they cook faster so they didn't have to wait, even though our wait was short already!“

“So thankful we stumbled upon this hidden gem. We were looking to try a new little spot and didn't realize we would find a new favorite! We shared the Jerk Chicken Egg Rolls, the Reuben and the Ribs and loved them all. Overall very casual environment with great service from Tim! Thanks for hosting us. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other menu items!“
