“I have a special place in my heart for local pizza places. This one is situated downtown and when you go inside, it has a very sort of swanky feel to it. Very nice. Almost like you're expecting the prices to be astronomical because of the presentation. But in reality, the prices are on par with most other pizza and pasta places. The guy at the counter was a bit difficult to understand (which isn't his fault) and when I said extra cheese, ham (which I thought he said they had both) and Canadian bacon he thought I said hamburger and Canadian bacon, which is fine because I like hamburger on pizza. The pizza was really good, though the side salad and calzone were for somebody else. But the calzone was absolutely massive. Definitely worth the price. The pizza was cut Brooklyn style, which I can appreciate since most places cut a thin crust into squares. I didn't even know this restaurant existed, honestly, until google recommended it. I'm glad it did. Certainly worth a try.”

“This is the Go-To spot in town! My favorite place in town to grab a cold one! Always great service, great people, and a great time. They have 7 or 8 TVs and the game is always. Some bar style food options like pizza, pretzel, nachos, and corn dogs.”

“Watch the women's basketball game here .Has a great square bar in the center with tables to the side and back area. I had hot wings and they were on point juicy in the center crisp on the outside.Order a 2nd order they were so good .. hamburger was cooked perfectly and the beers were cold . They have mixed drinks and they were generous for sure .. this is a neighborhood bar and everyone was friendly.. been around 40 or 50 years. Everyone is having a great time. Vote best bar 3 times for the area ..we will be back again ..”

“Camping at Bo Wood COE and we had taste for a frozen treat. Overheard some fellow campers that they tried this place. So we headed to seek them out. We had no name and no address, Google, nah just decided to find it the old school way. Once we spotted it we knew we found the it. The way a true neighborhood Sweet shop should be!! “Ok. it's time for Wifey and to review one of our favorite local TexMex places. This is a family owned establishment and food + service is where Taco Amigos REALLY shines. Getting a bad meal might actually be possible, but we just couldn't tell you about it because it has not happened to us in our hundreds of visits. Wifey Notes: This is a fave spot for us because: This family owned gem is right around the corner from our shop. Their food is always GOOD! Everything we have ever gotten here has been a fabulous rendition of it. Wifey faves are Steak Tacos with cilantro and onions, Pollo Sinaloa and Camarón Yucatán. They are very quick and efficient here, while also being very nice and attentive. The fact that they are family owned shows, as it just has that welcoming feel that is punctuated by always warm tortilla chips and a nice homemade salsa. I am also a very huge fan of their very refreshing pineapple iced tea. Mmmm. Fan favorite here! When that is what you welcome me in with each time without fail, It will keep bringing me back in every time! Hubby's Notes: I've not actually had a bad meal here, ever. My usual suspects are: Camaròn Encremado (a delicious shrimp, onion, mushroom, jalapeños in a cream sauce delight) Chori Pollo (grilled chicken breast with chorizo) Cozumel Plate (grilled chicken and shrimp with pineapples and broccoli) All of these are available with steak also, but I don't do that often. Suffice it to say, if you're in the area and like TexMex, but do not stop here, then that would be a big mistake.”

“Amazing Asian food! The best we've ever had. The appetizers are delicious, and so are the mains. You can get wine and beer if you like. They have a huge variety on the menu. We get a pork, beef, and duck dish to share. It's a nice, sit-down restaurant with great service. It's a perfect date night restaurant in Mattoon, Illinois.”

“Sweet Vail has become one of my favorite places. Lots of yummy food options, sweets, delicious drinks, and coffee! Such adorable atmosphere, always clean premises, and good tunes. I love plopping down in a spot with my laptop to get some work done. Can't go wrong with ANY of their panini or wraps. The chai is always delish. I always find a way to juggle it into my budget to enjoy.I LOOOOVE using the drive thru option, but when someone orders food it boggs up the line (it's NOT a fast food place, so don't expect 1 minute fly thru food in taste or time) I wish there was a way to separate food orderers to park to wait vs someone ordering a single drink or two.”

“We relocated to Charleston from Springfield about 7 months ago. I've been whining ever since that there's nowhere to get a decent steak. Holy Cow did Windsor's Pub deliver. The ribeye was fantastic. The wife loved her peppercorn encrusted pork chops. The Brussel sprouts and loaded mashed potatoes were also outstanding. I'm so thrilled to have a steak place now. We talked about the food the entire drive home. I'd be remiss not to mention the service was great too. Did I mention the ribeye?”

“Come, Take a trip back in time as I explain why this establishment is one of the best places to feel nostalgic and comfortable as well as tasting some of the best food in town. The place has an atmosphere that if you grew up in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's you will definitely notice! The staff is absolutely amazing! The woman who was our server was just so awesome. Then there's the food. The food was so amazing that I was given my food and then it was gone. I'm not exactly sure what happened. Lastly, Pricing was so very reasonable that I was definitely shocked but very happy. We live in Charleston and have full intentions of traveling to Unwind Rewind in the future, just to experience it all over again. Thank you to the Gnarly Server and the Hella good cook for making our experience out of this world!”
