“Do not be fooled that this hidden gem is located at a gas station! A group of us were randomly in the area and used google to look for a place to eat when we found Mr. Cesar’s restaurant. The food was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had! Mr. Cesar was super friendly even though we came in with a large group when they were near closing. We came back a second time on the way back from Rockford because I was craving it. The tacos (I love the chicharron tacos), the pozole and the mole chicken were some of the best I’ve had. We’re far up north and don’t live near, but will make it everytime we have to go out to Rockford (for sports cards shows). Thanks Mr. Cesar and your chefs for making such great food and to you for being so hardworking and hospitable. See you soon!“

“We were driving thru IL and I found this taco place on my drive. Decided to give it a try. Ended up getting steak, chicken and pork tacos to try. I would rate my favorite in the order. I would come again if I passing thru. Some places in the past have a little station with onions, pico, etc. Be nice to have that. That’s my only complains.“

“TRY THE TACO SALAD!! It's a beatific crispy shell that's filled with fresh lettuce then ripped with your choice of meat accompanied with fresh guacamole, sour cream and tomatoes. It's a must try! The owner greets you with a genuine smile! They have done a nice re model over the years I've been coming. I'm going to be back very soon .“

“I ordered from doordash so I don't know all the details on the actual restaurant but their food rocks I know where it's located in Huntley it is in a convenient location close to shopping I ordered the three taco dinner I opted for the cilantro with onions and rice and beans and a Mexican Coca-Cola everything was delicious and spot on definitely going back“

“What a great place with wonderful cocktails, a large and varied menu and a happy vibe. Christian, our server answered our many questions about the food and emboldened us to try selections we’d never had before! I loved the charbroiled skirt steak, ceviche, those pork appetizers I’ve never heard of, and my frozen strawberry margaritas. Others at the table had enchiladas, tamales, sangria and beer. Christian kept it all coming. He made sure to tell us about upcoming events such as taco Tuesdays and live music, including mariachi bands. Oh, sign me up! It also appeared to be family friendly. It’s a large space with plenty so we could have a conversation with our friends. The outdoor seating area looked nice, too, but we dined in the bar. A fantastic experience.“

“First time trying this place and was very pleased! The restaurant is very spacious and has plenty of tables for dining in. On top of that they also have a variety of ice cream bars for dessert😋 The owner was super kind and friendly. Order was ready within 15 minutes of it being placed. The salsas tasted very fresh and we will definitely be ordering from here again!! Highly recommend.“

“Great quality. Fantastic prices. My husband consumed his Lengua burrito soooo fast. Probably the quickest I’ve ever seen him eat. I had a Pollo Torta. So light and refreshing. Perfect size and wonderful flavor. Our kids had cheese a quesadilla and chips with guacamole. Also sooo delicious.“

There's plenty of parking inside this busy plaza. They didn't give us limones for our tacos maybe we shoulda asked other thn that the place is small decent definitely coming back to try more of their food items and maybe sit and eat there! Steak tacos were an 8/10.“

“Nice small place tucked into a strip mall. Add tacos barbacoa. Which were excellent. We also had the largest tray of nachos ever. It serves over four people. The staff was friendly and the food was served quickly and piping hot. Superfresh.“

“Best homemade food in the suburbs 📍. The restaurant has some of the best tacos 🌮🌮. I recommend the al pastor tacos 🌮🌮 and the quesabirria if its your first time. The horchata🥤is well made. The staff is very professional 10/10.“
