“The Cabin at Judy Creek is one of those places that just *feels right* the moment you walk in. Whether you are heading out for a laid-back date night, catching up with friends, or just want a chill spot to grab a drink after work, this place nails it.

First off, the vibe is awesome. The building has a cozy, rustic look with tons of warm wood and soft lighting. Its big enough to feel lively but still has that tucked-away, hidden gem feel. If the weathers good, grab a table outside the patio is beautiful and perfect for a long evening of hanging out.

The food? Totally hits the spot. Their smoked meats and sandwiches are next-level, and the sides arent just filler everything is fresh and full of flavor. The appetizers are great for sharing (bacon-fat popcorn is a must-try), and the entrees come in generous portions thatll actually fill you up.

Drinks are another win. They keep a solid craft beer list and pour some excellent cocktails. The bartenders know their stuff and are happy to help you find something new.

And the staff ties it all together friendly, quick, and genuinely happy to have you there.

Bottom line: great food, great drinks, great people. Five stars, no question The Cabin is the kind of place youll keep coming back to.”

“I won’t say I don’t recommend as we’ve been there a couple times before and had a great experience! Last night neither of us enjoyed what we ordered, our fault, we both went against what we were going to originally order….we ate it, it’s fine, you live and learn. Our waitress is what left a bad taste. It’s like she instantly had something in her head about us or we weren’t one of her regulars that she had to cater to as she was sitting, laughing and chatting with those around us. Not friendly, short answers and would set our drinks down after being told thank you and just walk away. The only time there was even a hint of friendliness is when it came time to pay.”

“Wingsnob is delicious! I used to get it in the Chicagoland area, and I started going to this new location almost as soon as it opened. The buffalo parmesan wings with the street corn and cornbread are amazing. Also, the ranch dip is really good, as well.”

“The food and staff at 54th St in Glen Carbon are great but I REALLY HATE how after the remodel they can’t open the patio doors. What is the point of even saying you have a patio when it is all closed up.”

“This place is amazing!! I lived in Virginia Beach for 10 years and I loved going to tropical smoothie. We moved back to Edwardsville, Illinois 2 years ago and I really missed this place. Then I was driving around the other day and I saw that this place was here and I am SOOOO excited!! I just tried it out today and it did not disappoint! Yay!”

“Just got home from being on the road all day. Tried stopping at Taco Bell for some tacos. I guess asking if the shells are fresh is a big no no there. So I left the drive thru and went to Hardee’s. To my surprise they were doing a taco Tuesday deal. I ordered and when I pulled up. I asked the young lady if the shells were fresh. She said they are made fresh by order. Awesome. I waited about 5 min. I ordered a lot of tacos. Got home. Checked my taco shells. Fresh as can be. Thank you!! The actual taco place doesn’t sell fresh taco shells. You get only old stale ones. I’ll be happy to take my money to you Hardee’s if I can get fresh food.”

When I drove up to cash out I noticed that the young women who was waiting on me had her mandated face mask pulled down under both her nose and mouth. To observe this was bothersome to me. I was a customer at around 2:30 p.m.”

“My brother is terminally ill. One of two things on his bucket list were to 1) go deep sea fishing - which can’t happen, and 2) try Gooey Buttercake Ice Cream. After running everywhere yesterday to try to find it, with no luck, as a last ditch effort I went in to Annie’s. They did not have it on the menu but Emily (the owner) was so considerate when she heard what was happening that she decided to attempt to make it on her own for me to pick up today. She told me everyone said it was delicious who tried it. Unfortunately, my brother will likely not be able to taste it as he is relatively unresponsive within a very short 24 hour period. The service, the support, them going above and beyond from what I could have ever dreamed of is absolutely beyond words. I’m sure Tom would have loved it. Thank you, Emily! There are still angels on this earth. And my daughter is absolutely addicted to your custard, and has been for four years!”
