“My husband and I recently discovered this gem!!! We don't live in Glen Ellyn and we started coming in July and have already been back 8 times! The fish is the freshest, the rolls/sashimi beyond delicious, the service and all the staff are always so nice and thoughtful. we can't wait to reserve their private seating floor room soon too. “I've been to a lot of AYCE sushi places. I just tried this spot and it's my new favorite. The restaurant itself is small but the sushi was some of the best I've had. The rolls were on the smaller side which means I can order more and get more variety. The icing on the cake is that the AYCE dinner is $25 which is great considering others are at least $30 nowadays“

“We were met by two of the nicest people today. Ichiro and Mrs. Lee. They were warm and friendly, and Ichiro made a recommendation which we obliged. He said if you don’t like it, no problem I will make you whatever you like. He made a recommendation for Ramen and sushi and everything was top quality, amazing flavor, and our new favorite! “Each table seats 4. We dined in. They have take out as well. We were greeted right away by a friendly wait staff who helped us with some recommendations along with taking our order. everything we ordered was great I had the black garlic pork on the first page of the menu, one of the children had plain ramen with chicken broth and the other had a chicken ramen bowl. We all tried each others and we all agreed our own bowl was the best but they all were good. You can either make your own, à la carte and choose your ingredients or you can choose from pre-made with pictures which we did because it was our first time. we didn't have room for appetizers, but we will definitely be back to try them because they all look amazing. Everything was delicious and we had a fun time with lots of leftovers which they package up very cute and neat, they put the ramen noodles in a bowl and your broth separate so your noodles don't suck it all up by the time you eat it again.. saved it as a new favorite spot!! The kids were ecstatic and had an amazing time which is very hard to do with most restaurants. fun food for kids and great eats for adults. 10 out of 10 from the kids!“

“Had a great experience here. The sushi rolls were really good—fresh, flavorful, and put together well (the kind where every bite tastes intentional, not sloppy or overloaded).

What really made the night, though, was our waitress. She was kind, fun, and genuinely made us feel welcome without being over the top. Service was quick, drinks stayed filled, and she had the perfect vibe for a relaxed dinner.

“This is absolutely a one of a kind experience! My mother and I did the “Decadent Omakase” as it was our first visit. Lee, our waiter was amazing. “I have eaten at Tanaka Sushi once or twice a month since 2021, and they consistently serve the best Japanese and Korean food in the Naperville/Lisle area. I am a sushi snob, and their sushi is always fresh and well-prepared. Their cooked dishes are always served piping hot and delicious, well-plated, and the portion sizes are great for the price. The employees clearly have a tight-knit work environment, and they are all always polite. I cannot recommend this restaurant more. You will never regret a Tanaka Sushi lunch.“
