“This place has my absolute favorite cider on tap. It basically ruined all other ciders for me. The food is delicious. I'm gluten free and there is great food for me. They have lovely trivia nights on thursdays and live music too. It is a lovely place. I highly recommend it.“

“The team working was great, friendly, attentive and that alone provided a fantastic atmosphere. We arrived with a group of 14 and they made sure we (and everyone) were all taken care of throughout the evening. Good drink specials, good music all in the heart of a Chicago neighborhood sounds like a winner to me. We will be returning, and if you’re ever in the neighborhood you should stop by. “Driving home and stumbled upon this welcoming gem on a Sunday.... excellent service w an attentive and friendly bartender. They had great live music from James Gedda that touched the soul. I will definitely stop by again if in the area.Great place to drink and make new friends.“

“My wife and I visited Chief O’Neil’s last night for a late drink during a quick trip to Chicago. We were personally greeted and served by proprietor Anluan McKinney who took great care of us and told us about the pub’s history. The food and drinks were wonderful and the pub was clean, comfortable, and authentic. It may be my favorite Irish pub in the US.“

“1) go to comedy night on Tuesdays, Kat, Sean, and Joe are the best
2) Great little dive, never spent too much for a drink here, which is awesome for Lakeview. $8 for a beer-shot combo and those guys behind the bar are solid as hell. Less than $20 to get drunk, but you can get a couple beers for under $10 👌👌“

“Last time we had the wings they were delicious, this Thursday they were dry, like they were sitting under a heat lamp and then tossed in sauce Disappointed. Had a BLT it was good! Husband had the chicken panini. It was delicious. Yes, we highly recommend going here. I think that the wait staff needs some more training. 👍“
“Irish Eyes has a carpet so sticky it deserves its own warning sign. The moment you step inside, your shoes form an emotional bond with the floor. It’s like walking on a mix of Velcro and mystery syrup, holding you in place just long enough to question every life choice that led you here. You don’t leave Irish Eyes, the carpet releases you when it’s good and ready.“
“We hosted my husband’s 50th birthday last weekend there and I can’t say enough good things!!! From start to finish an incredible experience and so much fun! I plan events for a living and working with Ma O’Briens was the easiest, most helpful and amazing experience.“

“Gracie’s is the perfect neighborhood spot to have a cold brew with your friends! Popcorn and darts just add to the lively atmosphere.
