“A wonderful establishment! The new cook, Mark, is definitely on the ball. The food was cooked made to order, accurately dressed, quality and quantity was two thumbs up. The atmosphere is quietly pleasant yet enough pep to get the spirits going. It is a good place to gather with friends and family or just a quiet evening out solo or with a significant other. This establishment is kid friendly, but most adults choose family time here during the day or dinner. The evenings are most enjoyable being in a non discriminate establishment with a variety of positive kind folks. “We had a 5 star expense at Bluff City Grill. The food was excellent. We had 6 in our party and everyone thought what they ordered was very, very good. The salads were fresh and well prepared. Sandwiches were also great. Two of us got the wings and they were perfectly cooked, crispy and delicious. They have a large variety of sides including three different vegetables.The service was outstanding friendly and efficient. We can’t wait to go back.“

“I've ate here 3 times for lunch. All 3 times I just ordered the special for that day. Food was always nice and hot, great amount, really reasonable price, great atmosphere, and ice cold beer. “Seemingly innocuous facade outside but once you walk into the unassuming front entrance it's a pleasant surprise. We didn't eat and it was our first experience. We stopped by out of curiousity and a night cap- coupled with a little slot action. The bartender was pretty great and the bar was clean, well lit & maintained. The mixed drink my partner got was affordable and the PBR was cold. Overall, I can't wait to support this unique, lo al, popular business in the future. Being a chef, I'm VERY curious about the food so we'll definitely be back for that!!!“

“Planned to meet friends with under-age kids here on a Friday night after a high school football game. Late-night food options in Alton are sparse. Had eaten here in the past, but apparently this bar/restaurant recently changed ownership. The once loud dance crowd was absent and few cars occupied the parking lot. The menu appeared the same. We ordered chicken wings, peel n eat shrimp and a burger. They only had cajun shrimp left, so after seeing the folks behind me being served the ribeye dinner, I changed my order. Wow. Great flavor, and served with roasted potatoes and fresh green beans. I was impressed. All that was missing was bread, but I didn't care much. I liked the quieter atmosphere and after a very drunk man made a huge scene and a fool of himself, the manager stopped by our table with an apology. Very good service. Excellent value for a steak dinner. Still a great place to eat. The entire meal was less than $30 for two drinks, burger/fries, and steak dinner!“

“I’m a burger guy but my buddy said, “First time, you have to get the wings.” He was right. These hot wings are hands down the best I’ve ever had. So much flavor, it’s basically a sin to use ranch or bleu cheese. Gevon is also a gem of a bartender! Highly recommend.Did I mention they use frosted mugs for draft?!“
