Awful! Go somewhere else.
I can’t say enough great things about this wonderful place and the people who run it! The lift and the surroundings made for a beautiful afternoon. The food and our waitress were perfect! On the ride down I dropped a purse and a wonderful gentleman named Alex worked hard on that steep slope to help us find it.
Thanks for a memorable day Aeries!!
Our stay at the Aeries Resort Lodge in the Deck House was a 5 star stay for our needs and quick getaway. The check in/checkout process was quick and efficient. The room was exceptionally clean and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a luxurious feel while still being cozy; (allow extra time for sleeping) making it a perfect escape. The view of Grafton and the Mississippi River from the deck house was also nice, it was cloudy during our stay.

The Winery at Aerie's Resort offers a scenic and price-friendly experience with amazing views of the Grafton and Mississippi River. Guests can enjoy a selection of Pinot Noir and blackberry wines. The venue is praised for its unique lift and staff, although some suggest improvements in management and service training. Despite good food quality, there can be long waits for main courses due to overwhelmed staff. The restaurant is advised to accommodate large parties better and offer wine tastings to enhance the winery experience.
The resort's internal and external environment is breathtaking, with the ability to access the winery by car or cable car. Visitors can enjoy the scenic view of the Mississippi River and Illinois from the deck or patio seating. The restaurant has a limited food menu, but offers a variety of wine and drink options. Customers have enjoyed a nice bottle of Moscato and found the burger, chips, and flatbread to be satisfactory, although the dip was described as cream cheese heavy.
