It is truly miles better than anything you will find at a grocery store or warehouse club, and the prices are very reasonable for the level of quality you are getting. Every cut is fresh, well prepared, and clearly sourced with care. You can genuinely taste the difference. What really sets Tony’s apart is the service. The team consistently goes the extra mile by offering recommendations, custom cuts, and cooking tips, and by making you feel valued as a customer. It is clear they take pride in their work and in serving the community. Having a good old fashioned neighborhood butcher shop like this is a special treat. “We stumbled in here a few months ago and it is now our go to hang out. Honestly, some of the best burgers and pizza around. Everything is made fresh (even their salad dressings and soups are made in house daily!). Become a regular and you will find family here!”

“This little sweet cafe is primarily a boba spot. But Yhana also serves coffee drinks (w homemade syrups), smoothies, energy drinks .. and a small sampling of foods : smoothie bowls, conchas, and a few breakfast & snack items. I prefer to make my smoothies / juices / hot beverages, and even meals at home - with love, and organic (as able, .. and seasonal, etc). BUT, a Gal does love to get out and support a LOCAL, Latina, BIPOC, business once in awhile ( .. and far less so the big corporations and chains). SO - THIS! PLUS, Anahy (the Proprietor, who's first name and biz are inverted - cute and clever, right?) - is a beautiful, sweet, and good Mujer .. and I'm rooting for her (& Familia)! GO! Drink, nosh, .. and buy some stuff - featuring a few Mexican & Salvadorian items (her familial lineage). PS It's extra cute in here, around Christmas / winter Holidays .. with the lights and music. 🌲✨️🎄”

“I went to barbecue productions for the first time yesterday and Annette was so sweet and welcoming. I had a lot of questions and she was very helpful didn’t answering them with a big smile on her face. She is the best, and the food was delicious!”

“I wish I got some photos because of how lovely everything was! Best wonton soup in the area hands down, and always pleasant service! We used to come here often enough that the lovely waitress would recognize my boyfriend and ask if he wanted their (fabulous) Thai beer. Wonton soup is garnished with cilantro, green onions, and DELICIOUS fried garlic, had to order some to go! Fresh sushi that is rolled very well with beautiful presentation, delicious drunken noodles, perfect miso soup, and very fresh house salad with crisp red onions (I've never had such a nice house salad like this before, honestly!) Great portions and everything always the perfect temperature!”

I have been a customer for years and finally placed my first catering order for my daughter’s birthday party, the process was simple and easy. Pick up was fast and speedy. All the guests LOVED the sandwiches and pasta salad and the presentation was beautiful! Plus I got to try some of my favorite sandwiches and labrettis in smaller portions. I can’t recommend them enough!!”

“😀Great food, however, the “build your own burger“was a disappointment. The onions tasted bitter and very salty. I got the worst case of heartburn from this burger! OMG. Otherwise, everything else is top quality! Be careful when ordering this “build your own burger.”🍔 I’ve never tasted onions so bad, and seem to be imbedded into the meat that tasted so bitter and awful salty. We live quite far from Grayslake..so we probably won’t be back.😞😩 This is a family restaurant with home made soups and other items on the menu. Too bad I didn’t take pictures! We had the triangle burgundy and the roasted turkey.”

“While visiting family over Christmas, our group walked across the street to Charlie's because we noticed a lot of people going there. The place was packed with friendly, happy people. There was only one bartender and she hustled with intention, a smile and a great sense of humor. We played darts most of the time, but I couldn't help but notice the atmosphere. I dont normally get chinese and I drive past at least 3 other chinese food locations just so I can buy from this location. They are amazing in every way; extremely friendly and patient and the food is always correct and tastes incredible.”
