“Highly recommend trying Merienda’s. I went there based on a recommendation from a friend. Loved the vibe, mom/pop, cute restaurant, with a lot of delicious options. Tried the spicy shrimp with garlic rice, pancit, ube latte with oat milk, pink calamansi lemonade, & mango cheesecake. Delicious! Will definitely go back to try other dishes. Very reasonably priced for the portion size. The guy at the register was friendly & enthusiastic with helping us select our entree.”

“We’ve dined here a number of times over the years, and it’s always managed to deliver that satisfying, slow-smoked comfort that keeps regulars coming back. But this latest visit stood out—worthy of a fresh review and renewed praise. Service, which in past visits could occasionally feel uneven, hit all the right notes this time. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, moving with a quiet confidence that set the tone for the evening. It’s a small but important improvement that elevated the experience considerably. As for the food—the heart of any smokehouse—the kitchen was clearly in fine form. I opted for both the ribs and smoked turkey, and each showcased why this spot has earned its loyal following. The ribs arrived perfectly glazed, with that balance of bark and tenderness that only comes from skill and patience. The smoked turkey, too often an afterthought at lesser establishments, was moist, flavorful, and subtly infused with smoke—no small feat. Cocktails rounded out the evening, each one thoughtfully mixed and balanced, adding a polished touch to the rustic fare. If there’s one shortcoming, it’s the setting. The restaurant occupies a strip mall space that, while perfectly functional, lacks the atmosphere its food deserves. The interior and seating are serviceable but uninspired—a missed opportunity to extend the warmth and authenticity of the menu into the design. A bit more “smokehouse soul” in the decor would bring the full experience together. Still, those quibbles fade with the first bite of those ribs. BBQ'd Productions remains one of the best spots around for great smoked meats and hearty, satisfying meals—now with service that finally matches the kitchen’s skill.”

“This little sweet cafe is primarily a boba spot. But Yhana also serves coffee drinks (w homemade syrups), smoothies, energy drinks .. and a small sampling of foods : smoothie bowls, conchas, and a few breakfast & snack items. I prefer to make my smoothies / juices / hot beverages, and even meals at home - with love, and organic (as able, .. and seasonal, etc). BUT, a Gal does love to get out and support a LOCAL, Latina, BIPOC, business once in awhile ( .. and far less so the big corporations and chains). SO - THIS! PLUS, Anahy (the Proprietor, who's first name and biz are inverted - cute and clever, right?) - is a beautiful, sweet, and good Mujer .. and I'm rooting for her (& Familia)! GO! Drink, nosh, .. and buy some stuff - featuring a few Mexican & Salvadorian items (her familial lineage). PS It's extra cute in here, around Christmas / winter Holidays .. with the lights and music. 🌲✨️🎄”

I have been a customer for years and finally placed my first catering order for my daughter’s birthday party, the process was simple and easy. Pick up was fast and speedy. All the guests LOVED the sandwiches and pasta salad and the presentation was beautiful! Plus I got to try some of my favorite sandwiches and labrettis in smaller portions. I can’t recommend them enough!!”

“😀Great food, however, the “build your own burger“was a disappointment. The onions tasted bitter and very salty. I got the worst case of heartburn from this burger! OMG. Otherwise, everything else is top quality! Be careful when ordering this “build your own burger.”🍔 I’ve never tasted onions so bad, and seem to be imbedded into the meat that tasted so bitter and awful salty. “The bouncer is amazing, great sense of humor. Good atmosphere. Pool tables and darts usually already taken if you work late. Bartenders are pretty good but you have to not be shy or anxious or they probably won't serve you. Best Bloody Mary I've ever had that I didn't make myself, and also, everyone should try the Zoey if you like sweet drinks.”

“We stopped by to try BR's version of the Mangonada. It looked very colorful and mouth watering. It's more of a smoothie than an ice cream, which explains why the guy looked at me weird when I asked for a spoon ?. So besides getting over the difference in consistency, it's Really Good! I started eating it with a spoon and then just gave up and stuck the straw in ?. It's a nice twist on the original Mangonada. I will definitely buy again!”

“Everything was great! Food was fantastic and it was very comfortable to hangout at. Our server was very nice but goofy, messed up a couple times. We don’t know if he was new, if it was because it was busy because it was very busy or if he was going through some personal stuff… BUT he didn’t make excuses like “you ordered this” or “someone else messed up”, he simply apologized and immediately fixed the issue, which we greatly appreciate! I hate when the server blames someone else or whatever, to me it doesn’t matter, just fix it! He had us giggling the whole time, even though he was making mistakes! Will definitely be going back very soon!”

“We ordered when they first opened but at that time felt there weren't many options and food was bland. Glad we gave this place a second chance! We ordered today and everything was delicious! They expanded their menu and was so happy to see the Indonesian Peanut Saute! Husband loved the Pad Thai. We had the Green Goddess and Raspberry Poppy Seed Pecan salads and they were super fresh and paired nicely with the dressings. Great friendly customer service from the young man taking the orders. Will definitely be back!”

Typically we play it safe with the BOGO Double Butter Burger Deluxe burgers w/o bread but tonite we were feeling like a change of pace so I took a chance a called to what other GF options we had. Olivia was an absolute rock star and knew all the answers to my gluten free questions. She spoke to me on the phone and then assisted with my additional questions once I was onsite to order. A HUGE thanx to Olivia for her patience and expertise and to Culver’s for offering those with Celiac Disease options when they don’t feel like cooking and want a quick bite out!”
