“Rhythm Kitchen has always been a staple in downtown Peoria for a couple of reasons…excellent food and awesome atmosphere. It’s cool that they just keep getting better and better. A group of us went there last night for dinner and it was absolutely outstanding! Service is always so friendly and you simply cannot replicate the Rhythm Kitchen vibe anywhere. The gumbo ya ya is an absolute must have, jerk chicken is crazy good and the meatloaf is classically delish. Even their grilled cheese is fantastic! And if you even think about leaving before dessert, you’re out of your mind. We were trying to be polite and share among the group, but there was a “survival of the fittest” mentality bubbling up at the table and let’s just say we were lucky to leave as friends. Few places leave you with the need to go back the very next day, but I gotta say, I need to go back…like now.”

“Went to Crumbl in Peoria to get the Minecraft cookies. They were out of 2 of the cookies I wanted, but I was able to go in the app and order the 2 flavors from the East Peoria store. Employees at both locations greeted me with a smile and gave me my orders quickly. Highly recommend both locations.”

The only con is the price of a Caesar salad, on our last visit my wife and I each got a Caesar salad to start our meal and the two salads alone was $25.00, everything else was inline with the service and atmosphere which is the best.”

“Our family ate at Aunt Ginny’s for the first time in mid May. There were five of us which included our son and two grandchildren. We had such a personable and funny waitress, great service, and delicious food! A nice young couple sitting across from us offered to give up their table if we had more people, but we didn’t need it. As we finished eating, the waitress informed us that our meals had been paid for by the couple who had already left. She said they were impressed that our family was having such a good time visiting with each other instead of seeing everyone on phones or electronics. THANK YOU to that sweet couple! “I work downtown and go here at least once a week. I order the same thing when I go, 16oz Fr Vanilla Latte with half and half. Depending who was working the counter I would get charged differently each time. $5.66 one day or $6.77 the next. I asked one day and was told I was being charged for the half and half. Ok fine, BUT today I go there and order the same drink and they wanted to charge me $7.00 for a 16oz??? Starbucks and Dunkin charge $4.49 for the same drink and size. I go to CXT to support local. But today was probably my last day. The gentleman today fixed me up and I was charged $5.00. I think you Managers better circle back because no one will pay $7.00 for a 16oz iced latte.”
