“Went to Mike's Tavern in West Peoria IL for lunch today. This is a small hole in the wall bar and grill. You first think of a two and a half garage that someone turned into a bar. You would be close . The owner is happy to tell you the history of the place. I had their Tenderloin. Crispy crust, toasted and buttered bun. On the thin side of tenderloins but still thicker then most. Just comes with chopped onions and at least a dozen pickles. No lettuce or tomatoes. Husband had the Double Cheeseburger. Once again only chopped onions and pickles. We shared an order of Truffel Oil Fries. Hot and crispy. They were hard to stop eating! Normally these are Parmesan Truffle Oil Fries but they were out of Parmesan. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch. Kitchen isn't open on Monday or Tuesday. Small menu but food is GOOD EATS!“

“Had the salad bar. It was good, simple and the 1000 island was great. Ordered the tenderloin. Hand made in house. Great texture and flavor. Perfectly tender. The potato medallions are great. I should have added photos but no it was good so I ate it all quickly.“

“Took a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a couple years to MacDuffs, I used to frequent McCritters, and told him, same owners, people, I kinda knew that on Sundays no food is served. So I called, she said just Pizza's. Good enough. I knew I wouldn't see my regular waitress etc. Lo and behold I walk in and there's Dee, a bartender that worked at Mccritters!! My friend LOVED the pizza! What food that was at McCritters, is at MacDuffs. I knew that, but not my friend. So good seeing Dee again, atmosphere was excellent, food, clean bar, went out on the patio, so nice!!“

“Not many of the old neighborhood bars left in Peoria any but this is a great one. The neighborhood itself isnt what it used to be, but a good group of regulars make this still a good place. Whitey serves up great lunches also. Basic cheeseburger, wings and pizza and cold drinks!“

Parking: If you catch it on the wrong time there isnt a lot of parking. And wheelchair accessibility is not the best but Definitely doable, especially if you know anybody in there. They're always willing to help“

“One of my favorite watering holes in town. Great atmosphere, awesome mix of people of all ages and nationalities. Great mixed drinks. Also the owners do a whole lot for the community. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a trouble/drama free evening. Google is asking about the food for some reason. This is a bar. No food. Just frozen pizza and some chips.

“We hosted our first Paint Nite at Wayne’s 121 Club this afternoon. I can not express what a great experience it was. They helped me set up and tear down, not even just staff, customers as well. Jeff did an amazing job keeping our drinks topped off. Dawn was a wonderful organizer and did an excellent job spreading the word. She also had a whole assortment of snacks for the attendees to munch on. There was even additional lighting set up. Overall excellent experience. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Best place to play darts, remote play options available, dart leagues anyone can join. They also sell darts! Multiple slot machines. Huge bar with great mixed drinks and the prices are the lowest around. Try the Salty Nut drink! Best 4$ you will spend!“

“We came along way and buy it be a New Year’s Eve. We didn’t look forward to coming to Peoria not having anything to do when we arrived. There were only like four cars in the lot so we figured we were pretty early for the New Year’s bash security at the front door said there was a $25 cover fee. There was no food and he said that there were only three people in the bartender inside, which disappointed me to the bottom of my heart when I come back to Peoria, maybe it will be a more greater experience being that they won’t be charging people at the door who in the world would pay $25 or New Year’s Eve and you didn’t even have food we didn’t come from Chicago to visit somewhere as such so waste of money not knowing what the atmosphere would be like once the crowd picked up, and since we werethe first ones in the crowd to be there before midnight. You could have at least let us in for free because just a couple hours after New Year’s you were packed that was the most ghetto thing I had ever heard of.“

“My husband and I stopped in before a Richrath Project 3:13 concert in June. We knew it had been Gary Richrath's local stop. Lots of memorabilia. Enjoyed our chats with Kim and the local patrons. We will be sure to stop in again the next time we come through East Peoria. P. S. Jaymi loved the hot sauce.“

“Our main slot joint. Some days the machines are tight and sometimes we can manage a little wiggle room. Bartenders can't be beat and almost never a dull moment in here. Always open til 4am and nothing fancy about it, so you know what to expect. Would recommend, but that might cause more competition on the machines. lol Thanks guys.“

“Went to Washington Mo to see family. We were looking for a place to have a drink. This was the nicest little pub around. We were there early in the day , but the owner was super friendly and welcoming. The patrons were good local people and welcomed us to their little corner of the world. "Indoor" beer garden let's ya smoke a cig in the dead of winter & still stay warm. Cold beer still has ice chunks hanging on em. Pool table in the back to help pass time... “We had a wonderful stay. The first day was incredible we ate at their restaurant I had the steak and everyone else their pizza food was super delicious. Steak was phenomenal. The next day my family and our friends decided to have some Japanese food at a restaurant nearby. I ended up having an emergency situation where I was in active anaphylaxis I begged my husband to just take me to the hotel which was right across the street. We came in the door asked if they had Benadryl and they asked if we needed an ambulance (husband said yes as I was saying no I’m fine, I wasn’t clearly fine at all) Everyone acted fast and got me Benadryl, water and kept my little one occupied while everything was going on. All this happened literally with in minutes. The ambulance came took me to the hospital where we sat for several hours to monitor me after receiving epinephrine. My friends watched our little one. I wish I caught the names of the staff members. Thank you for stepping in and acting fast and keeping everything calm. Truly appreciate everything y’all did for me that day. Very grateful my husband didn’t listen to me when I was saying no. Y’all are the best! Thanks for the amazing stay and the amazing riverside view!“

“This is a good place to go if u wanna win on the slots and have a good time even though I'm not there anymore I deff recommend everyone to go if u just looking to have fun on the slots and the owner is an awesome person she does a lot to keep her customers happy so if u need a place to when on slots and just have a cold one this is the place to be which I hope soon picks up and hopefully be able to go back in there soon I deff give this place all five Stars“
