“I visited the establishment out of curiosity. The enticing aromas of freshly baked goods permeated the air. An assortment of doughnuts, scones, cookies, danishes, and loaves of bread were on display. I made a purchase of two tarts, namely the Twix and the Briscoff. The Twix tart bore a striking resemblance to the popular candy bar, yet it surpassed it in terms of taste and quality. It consisted of a shortbread crust filled with a delectable caramel custard, topped with chocolate and a piece of a Twix bar. The experience was truly divine. I have reserved the Briscoff tart for a later occasion. The establishment offers a diverse selection of other delectable items, including cakes. I intend to revisit the establishment in the future to indulge in a sweet treat.“

“Beverly Bakery has become a MUST every time we are in the area! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is so friendly. The crème brûlée French toast with strawberries is easily the BEST French toast I have everrrrrr had! I love the fresh brewed coffee and the wide selection of coffee beans to take home that they will even grind up for you. I would recommend giving Beverly bakery a try to anyone looking for a great breakfast in the area.“

“I had a taste for something sweet and came across this place... Mmmmm good 👍🏽 it even had old fashioned candy like back in the day. The person behind the counter was sooo attentive. The customers in front of me ordered a child's birthday cake. The worker walked the cake to the car, and secured it. “So lucky to find Steel City Bakery. They are very kind and no matter how busy will stop to reply to your text. They answered all my questions and kept me updated on my order. I ordered a custom cake 2 days before my daughters birthday (most places want a week notice) They even delivered the cake to my house (and worked with me on changing the delivery time.last minute) And my daughters cake (although not elaborate design) came out exactly how she wanted it! I can honestly say in all the years I have ordered custom cakes they have never been 100% accurate. This cake was on point! And the taste was amazing! I'm excited to taste their truffles today that I just ordered! Hands down Steel City Bakery will be my go to Bakery for my family and I and if yall want beautiful, delicious Bakery ONLY USE STEEL CITY BAKERY....You won't regret it!!

The image on the cake is of a comedian from the show Impractical Jokers (it's a inside joke my 2 daughters have ) and the birthday girl had to have his face on her birthday cake) The 17 is edible sugar art cake topper (although not over the top) brought the cake together and her favorite color is green! Steel City knocked it out the park!“

“I placed an order for chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. They were ready on time, moist, and delicious. I prefer my cupcakes without any frosting, and they were not dry at all! Great flavor. I also tried a few other pastries as well, delicious!“

“Crystal made us an "Enterprise" cake for our 20th anniversary. It was gorgeous, and we all agreed it was the best cake we had ever tasted. Moist, fluffy, tempting aroma, delicious buttercream. There were fewer people at the party than expected, so we put some leftovers out for the people in our building. I forgot to photograph it but this was the design. The actual cake was much prettier“

A friend and I recently celebrated a family reunion gathering and we got a lot of compliments on the delicious cake and its decorations. The cake was so beautiful that the guests took pictures of it and asked us where we got it. Torie was very kind and professional and listened carefully to how we wanted the cake designed. “LAWD HAVE MERCY! Went into this shop with my husband, not realizing Fratellos was gone. We ordered the strawberry butter cookies and peanut butter cookies and key lime and strawberry shortcake cheesecake. HEAVEN. This place is amazing and we will be back. Do yourself a favor and get there!“

“I can tell that they put their heart into baking here. I tried 5 of their butter cookie flavors - strawberry, lemon, tres leches, chocolate and Old fashioned/original. First of all - the cookies are HUGE! I love that! However, more importantly, the flavors in each one are so good. No matter which one I tried it had great taste! My favorites were the original and the strawberry! They are in your local Jewel and I think Mariano's now as well. GRAB A BAG!!!!!“

“Stopped by this place to get a treat for myself. Bought a cake slice and two pastries in their self serve area. Cake was okay and tasted better after it got to room temp - tried a couple bites right after buying it and I did not enjoy it at first. Also bought a croissant and some sort of cheesecake or custard which was really yummy as well.“

“Tonight i ordered on DoorDash and i called the store and asked them to lightly mix in my toppings because it wasn’t an option on DoorDash but they were more than willing to do that for me! It was perfectly mixed in and it was just the right amount of toppings. “

“I ADORE Coldstone Creamery located on Dixie Highway in Homewood, Illinois. The icecream is phenomenal. The servers are hardworking and kind. While the environment is not exactly warm and welcoming - Dairy Queen on Ride Road is better for that, BUT this is open year round and has better, but more pricey icecream. It is my GO-TO, NEED A SHAKE/TREAR ASAP ice cream parlor!

Vegetarian options: It is NOT Vegan (milk, dairy products) and cannot substitute the health benefits of veggies!

Parking: Kind of cramped parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: Very kud friendly!
