Her name was Sarah B, bowls are absolutely delicious, beautifully made, good amount of extra Nutella, the açaí is a nice frozen smoothly flavor, the smoothie I had was fresh and filled with the right quantity and nicely blended. “I go to this location quiet often, but I was extremely disappointed as well as angry with what I saw today at this location. (3/9/25 at 5:35pm) The 3 customers that were ahead of me placed their orders were first timers I found out. The young lady that was fixing their smoothies dropped a cup on the floor, picked the cup up from the floor then sat the cup to the side. As she finished one smoothie she pulled a fresh cup, then the 2nd smoothie she proceeded to pour it in the cup that she picked up off the floor. I told the young lady that took my order, so she then pulled the young to the side to tell her that I saw what she did then she looks at me and says "I'm Sorry" (I said to her): What do mean you are sorry, why would you do that, and why are you giving that to her, you need to remake that smoothie ...and guess what she did not. I'm just want to make people aware: Watch the people that prepare your sandwiches/smoothies or anything of that sort. It's not their stuff, they're not paying for it so they don't care. That was just the epitome of nasty and extremely unsanitary. She didn't have on a Tropical Cafe shirt, she had on a gray shirt, she may have been new, I'm not sure but we need to learn to do better when working with the public. Don't do things to people that you don't want done to you!!!!! FYI...the name on the ticket was: Shelia G“

“This spot makes the best smoothies with option to build your own. Ingredients are fresh and there are many options to choose from. I got a banana, avocado, papaya smoothie. The staff is STELLAR and give such a warm, welcoming feel. They go above and beyond to serve the neighborhood. 5 star experience.“

“Fresh and flavorful! I’m thankful to have this new spot across the street with delicious gluten free goodies. I got the kissable smoothie, pork empanada, and chicken empanada.
Pork was a little sweet with a mild heat. Chicken was cheesy and a good amount of peppers. Both had a fluffy outside that filled me up. The papaya in the smoothie was so good. I’ll definitely be back!

“Came in with a friend who had never had boba before. The owner(?) recommended her a flavor and offered to make her a different kind if she didn't like it. She had brown sugar, I had taro, and my wife had a caramel latte boba. All were delicious! We also got the mini pancake bites which were fantastic. The owner(?) was super nice and gave us free water as well. If it wasn't a 40 minute drive for us we would be here all the time!“

“I pick up garbage in the area, I saw Teresa on the corner waving flyers in the air as I passed by so I decided to turn my truck around and give it a try. I’m so glad I did! I come here at least twice a week, and I have come with my wife and daughters on the weekend. Teresa is so sweet and full of energy I love her. The spinach banana smoothie is amazing, the michelada refresher is so refreshing and tastes great! Also had a couple bites of my daughter’s Nutella crepe… so good! “I just love this little restaurant!! I have breakfast there at least once every time I visit family in Avondale. It’s cute, it’s clean and the staff are so friendly and inviting. The food never disappoints. Several options of eggs Benedict, French toasts, the whole lot. The omelets are huge. The staples are all just as tasty too. And the food cooks up fast. Today I had the house salmon eggs Benedict and it’s just a tasty as the first time I had it.Marlene was my waitress and she was just so kind and never let me water get below half full. “Having recently moved near the area, I finally decided to check this place out. I absolutely love trying new boba shops, and I am thrilled that this one is so close by. Great atmosphere with cute decorations and plenty of seating. There was only one worker behind the counter at the time who greeted me as soon as I walked in. She was so sweet and made my drink very quickly.

As for the boba itself… it’s great! I got a brown sugar boba milk tea which I was glad to know was non-dairy (despite my love for all things dairy, I am lactose-intolerant. Booooo). The milk tea itself was great. For a brown sugar drink, it wasn’t too sweet at all, which I liked as I usually get my drinks with less sweetness. However, the tapioca was a little hard, a result of it either sitting out for too long or being chilled. I’m sure it would’ve been a thousand percent better with the tapioca’s real chewy texture, but I suppose I can’t complain since I walked in on a slow Wednesday afternoon.

Great shop overall, and I surely will be a regular!

“This is the place you want to go for when you want to authentic Vietnamese food. We got the Grilled Lemon Grass Beef Banh Mi and man that sandwich didn't have the right to be THAT GOOD. Everything was delicious, from the the warm and crispy Baguette, to the perfect beef, the correct toppings and man the ratios were so so good!
We ended with a couple of coffees and the experience was completed perfectly.
