“One of the best if not THE best Mexican-Bar Restaurant in the entirety of Illinois. I am from Los Angeles and we have one of the best Mexican food restaurants and I am fully confident and convinced Di-ga Tacos can hold up to any of the high rated LA Mexican Restaurants. I absolutely love eating at Di-ga Tacos as they have a huge variety of food and options. My favorite are the Carne Asada Nachos. They are insanely delicious and I could probably eat them every day. They also have a large refreshing drinks menu. The great part about the restaurant is that they also have a bar and available karaoke every Saturday. For the hot summer day they have ice cream and other cold snacks inside to cool down. But one of the most awesome things is that they cater to any event!”

“I just went to the newly managed Shandy’s before the Demolition Derby at the Marshall Putnam Fair 2025. I have to say that I was very impressed with the pork tenderloin sandwich and French fries. My waitress was very attentive and the food was much more than I could eat. Price was reasonable….. I give it a definite go to place for a different place to eat. Thank you Shandy’s.”

“They were very friendly the entire time we were there. The food came very quick which was appreciated since we had our 2 year old grandson other us. HERE IS the really awesome thing…we ate and left and had lost a toy guitar somewhere in the restaurant or along the street there in Henry. The staff was so nice to search the restaurant and then down the street to find it along the road. Super thoughtful to go above and beyond to help strangers. We will be back for many many reasons?”

“Posted on Chicago Area microbreweries - Facebook page: Not quite Chicago area, but Princeton, Illinois . . . I was pleased to find Coal Creek Brewery had opened in the "2nd downtown" since I was last here. Located in a narrow, but long space - like a shotgun house - it was a nicely laid out place to have a beer. With 12 beers on tap, this small brewing operation had a varied selection of beers instead of 6 out of 12 being only IPAs! I tried the Kolsch and Milk stout because [instead of] . . . my usual preference of having a flight when checking out a new brewery . . . I spoke with the bartender/part owner and learned they learned their craft working in Florida before returning to her . . . husband's hometown. Coal Creek has only been open for two years now, but it is well worth a stop. Check it out.”

“Passing through Princeton on the way home to Naperville, we stopped at Monical's for pizza today. It was the first time we've been to this restaurant. I didn't realize it's a chain restaurant mainly in central Illinois. Walking into the restaurant there's an area where you order and pay for your food at a small counter. They give you a number and you go into the restaurant and choose your own seat. A staff member will bring you your order. My husband and I each ordered a small side salad, which was cold and fresh. It had cheddar cheese, tomatoes and carrots on top. My husband and I each ordered pizzas. He had a larger thin crust sausage pizza and I made my own small veggie pizza with spinach, mushrooms, and black olives. We ordered our pizzas to be cooked crispy. I like that they had a chart to show you the different levels of doneness on their crusts. The crust was cooked perfectly crispy when it was delivered to our table, just like in the photo. It was piping hot when it came to the table which I loved. I was so surprised how good this pizza was. I can honestly say this is the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. Tammy took care of us by bringing our food and drinks to our table and checking on us. She was very friendly and engaging. It was a pleasure to have her wait on us. I could tell she liked what she did and that she really cared that her customers had a good experience. She's a definite asset to this restaurant. I'd definitely go back if I was ever in the area again just to have this thin crust pizza. I recommend stopping at this restaurant and giving their pizza a try. You won't be sorry.”
