I ordered a capp with an extra shot of espresso, oat milk, and their seasonal apple spice syrup. Perfectly balanced (I even forgot to ask for it half-sweet, like I usually do, but my coffee still tasted like coffee, not like straight sugar 🙌🏼 - much appreciated!!)

Coffee was quick to come up, and there’s plenty of street parking in this sparse industrial neighborhood.

“Chose to come here because it’s a halfway point between my friend’s and I’s homes, and it was such a pleasant experience! The atmosphere was very nice and calm, the smells were divine, and the service was excellent! We got to chat with the owner for a second and she was absolutely darling! I had a strawberry matcha latte with brown sugar boba and I know in a week I’ll be craving it again. 10/10 will be coming back again!“

“This is my first time here, and I have to say I absolutely love the atmosphere! It is so pretty inside and it's so clean. The staff was super nice.
The only negative thing that I could say was that it did take a long time to get the food even though we were the only ones in there and for what we bought it was really expensive. I thought we were going to get these like full sandwiches and they were these little tiny bitty appetizers.
We also ordered drinks the refreshers and they were so good. I highly suggest to get them with water not with lemonade because they are very sweet. But my first time there and I definitely will be going back. Also you can sign up for points and earn free food.

“Came upon this place today! I had a decaf honey bee latte. It’s got a heavy honey taste and surprisingly not that sweet given the honey in it.

I also had the breakfast quesadilla. Would have been nice if there was a bit more like maybe a side of guacamole in addition to sour cream and salsa. It was super heavy on the cheese.

The place itself was pretty spacious for a cafe. Plenty of place as I was there fairly early in the AM. I would give it another try.“

I had been to this bakery before and meant to order from here, but didn’t realize there was a very similarly named place in Bridgeport. They explained the difference to me and gave us some free goodies. We also ordered chilaquiles and a sandwich + soup, which were delicious.“

“Joy Yee is an absolute gem for Asian cuisine! The menu is extensive, with everything from bubble tea to delicious noodle dishes. I loved the vibrant flavors and generous portions—perfect for sharing. The service was quick, and the food came out fresh and hot. It’s always busy, but worth the wait. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for authentic, tasty Asian food!“

“We went to Chinatown and visited this place and got their rolled ice cream. I think the ice cream is very good with pretty big portions. I got 4 different ones and all of them were good but the favorite was the strawberry mango cuz of the fresh mango and strawberries on it. Personally although there were a lot of people, the wait time was not too long.“

The location was spectacular, and the views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline were truly amazing. And they have restrooms for the customers. “We went there today for breakfast. The eating area was nothing special but it was clean and nice enough for us to dine there. The food was pretty good as well. We tried the bacon egg and cheese sandwich and the cheese and jalapeño sandwich (our favorite) as well as a coffee and a hot chocolate! Everything was pretty good. In fact we decided to take a loaf of the jalapeño cheddar sourdough and some sweets home after we were through eating. Our only complaint was the gentleman taking the orders. He has absolutely zero personality and as the face of a place like this, you need to have someone willing to engage with customers. We never saw him smile once while he was dealing with us and we had two transactions while we were there. The bread is amazing. I just hope that the front of the store doesn’t keep people from returning! Just our 2 cents!“

“Life Time Fitness – Orland Park, IL I was assaulted, mocked, and threatened by 3 different members at this location — and corporate retaliated by terminating my membership without following any proper protocol. I was a loyal member at Life Time Orland Park for six years. During that time, I experienced multiple incidents of harassment, threats, and even physical assault from other members. I reported everything through the proper channels. Instead of addressing these serious safety issues, General Manager Diedre Taylor and Babette McGlagen from corporate retaliated against me by terminating my membership with no explanation, no investigation, and no due process. Corporate has ignored both my outreach and that of my attorney. Things escalated after I formally complained about trainer Ricky Cruz mocking me. Rather than hold him accountable, Diedre Taylor retaliated — and Babette McGlagen finalized my termination in violation of basic protocol and fairness. Meanwhile, Ricky Cruz continues to act unprofessionally. He has been seen wrestling a woman in her 50s on mats in the middle of the gym. This takes place in full view of members — many of whom are Muslim — and is deeply inappropriate and culturally disrespectful. Life Time management permits this behavior without concern. This location also misleads members by giving trainers inflated titles like “DPT” or “Corrective Exercise Specialist” to sell expensive training packages, especially to seniors and emotionally vulnerable clients. Most trainers appear to have minimal certifications and rely on generic programs. Bottom line: I was harassed and assaulted. I spoke up. And I was punished. There is no professionalism, no accountability, and no respect for diverse members at Life Time Orland Park. If you value safety, dignity, or fairness — stay far away from this place. What concerns me most is that I was never contacted or spoken to directly about the incident that led to this decision. No explanation was ever given to me, even after repeated requests, and my attorney’s outreach to corporate has also been ignored. In my view, this lack of communication and transparency says more about the prejudices of the General Manager than anything I did as a member. I have never violated Life Time’s policies, and yet I was treated unfairly and without due process. Life Time promotes values of integrity and respect, but my experience has been the opposite. I believe this was an instance of discriminatory treatment, and I want other members and potential members to be aware of how situations like mine are being handled.“

“I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.“
