“This is my new favorite restaurant! The service was fast, the food was delicious (the best Shrimp Po' Boy and Sweet Potato Fries I've ever had!), and the atmosphere was wonderful. The patio area had a mural, pond, and palm trees, and it felt like we were on vacation. Can't wait to go back!“

“I was in town for Cicada research and after a long first day, Rosie's was suggested by multiple people. I had the Special and (it was steak skewers thar night) everything was prepared beautifully. The staff are amazing. By request, I returned the favor and fed them. Fried Cicadas. kitchen staff, wait staff and bartenders. all of them are skilled and have great personalities. I will go out of my way to return. Thank you on behalf of myself and the "Name That Bug!" community.“

“This labyrinthian, enigmatic Culver's location is conveniently located near the Interstate and the county fairgrounds. Its bizarre, non-Euclidean layout complements their excellent food and service. After a long day at a convention, there's nothing I enjoy more than that first sip of Culver's root beer within an environment that slowly pecks away at my sanity with every breath I draw. Looking forward to my next visit!“

“We love Bakery & Pickle! Our food is always outstanding, good service, and quality cocktails. We love their bartender Cullen. He makes the best drinks in town and will even create something unique based on our tastes. We had so much fun at the bar last night that we skipped our dinner reservations in the dining room and enjoyed our anniversary dinner at the bar. This place is always a good time with great staff, food, and atmosphere. Cullen keeps us coming back for his excellent cocktails!“

6 am opening, perfect. Had steak and eggs. Exactly what I ordered. Waitress checked on me more than once after food was served. Music was 80's but not too loud to have conversation. All in all, I will be back.“

“We went to Baxter's for our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised for find a card congratulating us on our table. Very nice! We also received a complimentary dessert for our celebration. The food and service as always was top notch. This is one of favorite go-to places for a nice dinner! Thanks Baxter's for helping us have a great evening!“

“Just had probably the best pizza I've ever had!! Supreme pan is amazing, absolutely everything about it...the pan crust, toppings, lots of cheese, light sauce that had a great flavor and perfectly cooked!! Service was top notch and really fun atmosphere...we will definitely be back!!“

“Great stay here coming into town for a little work get together with my boyfriend! Loved the decor inside and how they have everything set up. Very lovely atmosphere. Greeted at the front desk promptly by Adrianna, who was super sweet and friendly. She helped to check us in, and even humored our request to upgrade our two Queen beds to a single King, as well as a room with a balcony! Which was absolutely amazing! Made our stay 10x better. Event went great, we were back at the hotel for a wonderful stay, and in the morning we had an even better experience! We woke up early to indulge in the variety of breakfast and drink choices, and the welcoming company of Barb, Margo and Sandra! These ladies are all wonderful at what they do. Barb went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and connected with us on a meaningful level that left us feeling incredibly blessed! We are so glad to have met her and had a beautiful stay. The chef(s) and wait staff did excellent! The only minor inconveniences we had were that the lids were not properly fitting the coffee cups, and for the life of us we could not find the invisible vending machine, so I guess it’s doing its job. :P Thank you! Can’t wait to come back for a little out of town stay sometime!“

“I recently went to the Hy-Vee bakery looking for a cake for my sons birthday. As I was looking through the cake selection book I happened to look over and up behind the bakery counter and I saw the most fantastic cheeseburger cake. I spoke with Monika, and found out that it was a specialty cake that she had just added to display. I asked if it was possible to customize it as my son eats plain hamburgers and would find the humor in that and Monika was very accommodating. The cake turned out so amazing. Monika is so creative and the cake turned out so good. A big THANK YOU to Monika for being just so nice and accommodating but also a fantastic creator of beautiful tasty cakes!“

“The food here is usually really good. It's a nice burger joint on campus located in the Student Bone Center. One thing I noticed is that some of the staff is usually unfriendly, but not all of the time. The food does take a really long time to come out though.“
