“I was in town for Cicada research and after a long first day, Rosie's was suggested by multiple people. I had the Special and (it was steak skewers thar night) everything was prepared beautifully. The staff are amazing. By request, I returned the favor and fed them. Fried Cicadas. kitchen staff, wait staff and bartenders. all of them are skilled and have great personalities. “I recently went to the Hy-Vee bakery looking for a cake for my sons birthday. As I was looking through the cake selection book I happened to look over and up behind the bakery counter and I saw the most fantastic cheeseburger cake. I spoke with Monika, and found out that it was a specialty cake that she had just added to display. I asked if it was possible to customize it as my son eats plain hamburgers and would find the humor in that and Monika was very accommodating. The cake turned out so amazing. Monika is so creative and the cake turned out so good. A big THANK YOU to Monika for being just so nice and accommodating but also a fantastic creator of beautiful tasty cakes!“

“Great stay here coming into town for a little work get together with my boyfriend! Loved the decor inside and how they have everything set up. Very lovely atmosphere. Greeted at the front desk promptly by Adrianna, who was super sweet and friendly. She helped to check us in, and even humored our request to upgrade our two Queen beds to a single King, as well as a room with a balcony! Which was absolutely amazing! Made our stay 10x better. Event went great, we were back at the hotel for a wonderful stay, and in the morning we had an even better experience! We woke up early to indulge in the variety of breakfast and drink choices, and the welcoming company of Barb, Margo and Sandra! These ladies are all wonderful at what they do. Barb went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and connected with us on a meaningful level that left us feeling incredibly blessed! We are so glad to have met her and had a beautiful stay. The chef(s) and wait staff did excellent! The only minor inconveniences we had were that the lids were not properly fitting the coffee cups, and for the life of us we could not find the invisible vending machine, so I guess it’s doing its job. :P Thank you! Can’t wait to come back for a little out of town stay sometime!“

I had a season salad which was wonderful and the strawberry ganache cake is my new all-time favorite dessert!!!! Friendly, fast service!!! “We arrived right at opening. We were immediately greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome by Lee. Already they were swamped with New Year's Eve orders, but Lee was super attentive, and his attitude was just phenomenal. The entire staff was actually really great, they clearly know what teamwork is! The food was absolutely amazing. We tried the pepper jack cheese curds as well as the garlic cheese curds. Delicious. The double cheeseburger (which was the special today) was on point, the chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crisp and juiciness, fresh bun, and my favorite crunchy pickles! The restaurant was really clean, and the atmosphere is cozy. Love the chill vibe. The prices are unbelievably amazing too! We will be back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If I could give more stars for service, I would!“

“The food here is usually really good. It's a nice burger joint on campus located in the Student Bone Center. One thing I noticed is that some of the staff is usually unfriendly, but not all of the time. The food does take a really long time to come out though.“

“My wife and I stopped for lunch in Bloomington Illinois. We decided to have the Fish Sandwich, a friend informed us they are great. He was not wrong. Tasted fresh the cod was fantastic. My wife said it tasted better then the burgers. The staff are very professional and nice.“

“We have been to Revery numerous times and have always loved it. This time was different. Our waiter was wonderful despite the fact he had 15 tables which is the entire back room. Service was slow due to this, which wasn't his fault. Almost 45 minutes before we got our drinks and ordered our meal. We did get the appetizer quickly. The brie had little flavor as did the bread. I ordered the filet and the texture was more like short ribs, kinda weird. I substituted the sweet potato puree and it was very pasty, My husband ordered the ribeye. He said it was good but on the fatty side. The carrots looked like burnt French fries. Completely black. We got our bill and had to then ask for the dessert menu. Not sure what was going on, but we will give it one more try.“

6 am opening, perfect. Had steak and eggs. Exactly what I ordered. Waitress checked on me more than once after food was served. Music was 80's but not too loud to have conversation. All in all, I will be back.“

“One of the BEST places to eat in Blo/No. I havent had anything I didnt like at this restaruant ... and Im a somewhat picky eater.

My goto is the Turkey Sandwich, I started asking for it on a Brioche bun... (the one from the chicken sandwich, which is also amazing) and its top 3 BEST sandwiches Ive ever had. Maybe number one. I used to get potato wedges with it, but recently tried the cole slaw... and its amazing. It has onions and redpeppers and I dont know what else... but it SLAPS...!!

The chicken biscuit and gravy from the brunch is a monster... The pizzas are amazing... the pasta is amazing... DESTIHL is a local gem...!! The girl at the bar, Jen is such an incredible server and such a nice person. The staff is always incredibly hospitable... I cant say enough good things about DESTIHL...!!“
