“I went to The Vets for the first time Friday, July 2nd. Such a fun place!!! Great bartender, Kristin!!!! She's quick and funny and everything you want to keep a bar full and happy!!!! Very, very clean place!!! All the work they have done is amazing!!! The back patio looks like it is going to be THE place to hang out!!! Beautiful facility!!!! I live several hours away, but hope to come back soon!!!“

“My boyfriend and I stayed for a few nights at the hotel that’s connected to Manny’s. They have happy hour on select beer for 4-6, the best prices in town on drinks, slots, pool, and great customer service. Lindsey took care of us all night, and did a great job doing so. The place is super clean and taken care of. They currently don’t offer food, but have some great suggestions on food nearby. We loved the atmosphere, and plan on coming back!“

“Wow, I can't believe this place is still open. It has probably been over 25 years since I visited this place. It was a dive bar on one side, and a strip club on the other side. But lol, they have probably remodeled the place since the last time I was there. I never actually went to the strip club side though, lol. I woukd just go to the regular side, with just a bar, and a pool table, to play a few games of pool. It might be completely different then the way I remember it though. I rarely went there, to be honest, but a lot of my old friends visited the strip club, and talked about it. But anyways, it is so cool to see that this place is still open. I was born and raised on Carbondale, and this place just brings back memories. Long live JB's. Hope everyone around there is doing well.“

“I recommend everything about this establishment. I made reservations, requesting a table arrangement for a group of women who get together once a month for lunch, and I couldn't have been more pleased. Our waitress, Kayla, did an outstanding job of catering to our every need, going over and beyond for us. The food was wonderful, and the portions were plenty. If anyone walks out, still hungry, somethings wrong. lol I'm sure our ladies will be going there again. Thank you Nikki, Kayla, and all who helped, for being so kind.“

“I have ate at Back Water a few times now both breakfast and supper..they are both great but I'd have to say that the Breakfast on the weekends are my favorite. Jami has been my waitress each time. She is the sweetest and she makes sure she gets your order right. Shane has some cooking skills....dont tell him i said that though! The biscuits and gravy are delicious!! Its been a while since I've had HOMEMADE GRAVY from a restaurant! The pancakes are bigger than the plate they serve it on. Michelle is awesome and extremely consciencious about serving the best food! “Casual restaurant on Old route 13 West of carbondale. They have really good food at a reasonable price. Ive had a few different meals from here and enjoyed all of them. Plenty of parking, but it does get busy around dinner on the weekend.“
