“I recently visited McDonald’s, and I was genuinely impressed with the overall experience from the moment I pulled into the parking lot. One of the first things that stood out was how spacious and well-organized the parking area was. Even during a busy time of day, I had no trouble finding a spot close to the entrance, which made the visit feel convenient and stress-free from the start.

Inside, the customer service was exceptional. The staff greeted me right away with friendly smiles and a positive attitude that set the tone for the rest of my visit. My order was taken promptly, and the employee at the counter made sure everything was accurate, even repeating it back to confirm. It’s small touches like that which really show they care about providing great service.

The dining area was clean, the food came out hot and fresh, and the employees checked in to make sure everything was satisfactory—something you don’t always expect from fast food but definitely appreciate. Even the drive-thru seemed to move quickly and efficiently for those coming in after me.

Overall, this McDonald’s location delivered a smooth, pleasant, and well-managed experience. With great parking and outstanding customer service, it’s definitely one I’ll be returning to.“

“Honestly one of the best airport fast food experiences I’ve ever had. Prices were okay, menu is large, everything is made to order, staff were friendly and seemed to be having a good time. Short line, food was ready about 10 min after I ordered at the kiosk. Kiosk allows for customization. As I was leaving one of the workers asked if I wanted a free order of onion rings since they made some that didn’t get picked up. So rings, dog, and drink for about $15? Hard to get that kind of deal at the airport!“

“The restaurant is nice and big. It is clean! The waitstaff is great, friendly and efficient . The food is very very good and you know it's a great place to go when there is a wait line, sometimes out the door. You have the option to eat outside in good weather. My husband and I always try to get the cozy two seater table in the little nook by the window. The food is very tasty and plenty of flowing coffee. Due to illness we are not able to come out much, but I sure miss this place. Lots of wonderful Saturday morning breakfast memories. Wishing you great continued success.“

“This is a five star overall and in every category rating. After reading reviews on all sites I thought I’d give Joe’s a try. Their site indicated fresh ingredients, fresh dough, and outstanding service. It’s true! This is not a chain…as in everything tastes the same, pizza. The sauce is fresh and not overly salted or seasoned; you taste the tomatoes, the sausage, the green peppers and the onions! It was risky because I ordered this for New Year’s Eve for a group, (even tho I’d never had it) but all loved it. I had to laugh thinking about others’ reviews that note it tastes different-that’s because they haven’t had fresh ingredient pizza in so long. The owners (I assumed) were fun and kind and the cozy/small pick-up makes you feel like you are in another country-Italy. “Saw this place plenty of times on social media and finally gave it a try today. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak combo with fries and a drink; also got a 6 piece buffalo wings. Ended up getting 2 of their homemade ranches, which have this great dill flavor. Everything was absolutely delicious especially because it’s all cooked in beef tallow. The cheesesteak had a generous portion of steak and cheese on it, all served on this fresh seeded bread that had a delicious garlic bread taste. The buffalo wings were great too. Everything was cooked fresh but the star was that dill ranch. I put it on everything and it just amplified the flavors. Definitely going to be visiting again, highly recommended.“

“It was our first time and hands down super adorable! We got cheeseburger with fries, Mac and cheese, onion rings and some soda. Everything took less than 30 minutes. All servers were super attentive and checked in periodically. The trains were super cute! My kiddos looked forward to the train bringing food! Will definitely be back for round 2.“

“It’s a good sandwich place. I tried a few of their sandwiches and haven’t had one I didn’t. You can also modify them to your liking. It’s usually not busy which I like because we can order and get our food quickly. This is our daughter’s favorite sandwich place (she’s 4 but knows what she likes lol).“

“This used to be our absolute favorite spot. My friends and I would come here several times a week, and we loved the familiar faces on the staff. Sadly, things have drastically changed for the worse. ​We noticed the staff began turning over constantly, and after speaking with some of the remaining employees, we found out why: the owner is reportedly keeping 40% of the servers' tips. Under Illinois law, tips belong entirely to the staff, and an owner taking a cut is entirely illegal. ​It breaks our heart to walk away from a place we loved, but our group has decided to take our business to other local spots that actually respect and support their employees. We won't be back until management corrects this and treats their staff fairly.“

“Astonishing that it's still around. I was 10 when it opened in 1948 and to get a double decker at HH was close to heaven. Across the street was Prince Castle, long gone, where you could get a slider for much less money. HH was a splurge and it's wonderful to see it live today.“

I do feel for the poor server who was constantly re-aligning the train due to derailments. And she didn't have a cutoff switch - it's in the kitchen so she has to yell back. I think the rail setup could be improved for the employee's quality of life.“
