Nitya ... staff person, was so sweet and remembered to add cucumbers I wasn't enabled to on the online order app and brought the to go order directly to me. The food is also amazing bc it stays true to Korean food fused with fresh veges and both Korean and non Korean based like glass sweet potato noodles or salad or purple or white rice. The flavors are authentic to Korean food items also. Online you can ask for extra of one the free included sides which is nice. The sides are healthful and tastes great. The staff (diverse staff) and manager (who looked Korean to me which is nice to keep authenticity) are always cleaning...authentic to the Korean way of non stop standards of cleanliness. The bathroom is immaculate and non odorous. I got a glass noodle (which is made of sweet potato) base bowl with tofu (cooked perfectly with just right saltiness, broccoli, beans, steamed and fried potatoes, red cabbage, corn, kale, and KIMCHI of course! What Korean dish comes without kimchi and it's perfect inside bc I grew up adding kimchi to everything like ramen or pizza or soup. Also FREE miso soup w tofu and scallion. You can serve it yourself anytime. Drinks are creative and yummy. Thank you Mr Shin (owner of this chain) for creating such a great deal with yummy Korean foods that help me eat for balance and wellness. Thank you to the manager of this Des Plains location for doing an excellent job! If I could, I would eat here everyday. You won't be disappointed. Free and ample parking in the mall and it's right next to Panera. We dined at Lucca several times thereafter. Each time we experienced the food and service to be impeccable! We then met Sonia, the Sales Manager, who was lovely to work with! We were assured that that our event would be terrific! Indeed, Karen and Shannon were amazing at anticipating our guests' needs. They seemed to know exactly what everyone needed at the exact time they needed it. Our guests were so impressed with the delicious homemade dishes and the attentive service! I can't speak highly enough of the entire experience at Lucca!“

The Port of Peri Peri definitely delivered on the flavor front! The peri-peri chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of heat. The sides were also delicious - especially the flavorful rice and the perfectly cooked vegetables.

The service was top-notch. Our server was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, perfect for a family meal. Overall, a great dining experience! I'd definitely recommend The Port of Peri Peri for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal.

“Food and service fantastic. They were running behind with reservations but they comped us drinks an an appetizer...which is pretty unheard of these days. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.“

I’ve been to BlackBerry market to simply grab a quick bite after running errands in the area, but I’ve also come here with a larger group of friends for relaxed brunch. No matter the occasion, I’ve never been disappointed with the food! It hits every time— my special shoutout goes to the Italian Wedding Soup, as well as the Chicken Avocado Club! I always gravitate towards those dishes and they never let me down.“

It's a lite spicy sauce... also delish!!! Alfredo sauce amazing too.. try their beer... made for them by one of our brewery's here... it's on tap!“
