“Decent prices, everything is made when ordered, got our order out in a decent amount of time. Finally, some crispy fries! Perfect fries, crinkle cut, prefect color, perfectly crispy! Order a double cheeseburger, double hamburger, chicken strips, regular fries, and cheese fries. All was very good, although the burgers could have been even better with a little seasoning, but still good! We also ordered a Caramel Sunday, and a chocolate ice cream! Way better than Dairy Queen hands down! If the burgers had a touch if seasoning, this would definitely be a 5 star! So close, I wish there was a half star i would give a 4.5”

“We really enjoyed our dinner! We ordered jalapeno cheese curds good but lil spicy for us. New York strip steamed broccoli 🥦, ribeye loaded mashed potatoes (lil lumpy but i liked them), we both had the salad bar (whichis fantastic). Steaks were flavorful and cooked perfectly (med rare)! “This is the real thing. Best Italian food I have ever had. Cozy little restaurant that is clean as can be and the server was just great. This girl really can multitask when taking care of the customers. The portions are generous, and the prices very reasonable. So glad we stopped there and will definitely return next time we are in Salem.”

“I got the best ripe peaches from here right after the fourth. The peaches were actually RIPE! I didn't have to put them in a brown paper bag for a week to ripen up. SO GOOD!”

“Best Mexican food in town! Their tacos and pretzels are just amazing for it being here in the middle of no where Illinois, definetly one of my favorite places in my whole area. The service is genuinely awesome they’ve never gotten my orders wrong and they’re always happy to help! The atmosphere is nice it’s the best they can do with what they have and I respect them for making the most out of it!

Vegetarian options: there is none I don’t think you’d have to ask or look.

Dietary restrictions: it’s not vegan and I don’t know if they do have vegan options or not, if you have any certain allergies than just ask because they will certainly help you.

Parking: just good general parking, quite a few places to park at

Kid-friendliness: Every time I go to Chico’s theres always a family with kids there playing as there are kids toys in the restaurant, as well as gumball and other machines as well as out-door seating for the kids to have fun in the rocks or whatever

Wheelchair accessibility: no stairs or anything; smooth pavement. Should be easy to access but I would just drive thru.”

“It opens on Christmas! The price is good and there are decent kinds of food. Majority of their food is a bit salty, so if you do not eat a lot of salt, that would be not so good.”

She had worked 3 doubles this wkend and was dead on her feet but a customer that didn't ask would never know! She did an amazing job and was in high spirits with a sweet smile!! “I arrived around noon on 12/20/25 and told the female worker I needed to place a large order (3 18 PC meals). She said that there were only two people working and that it would be at least an hour before the chicken would be cooked. Drove to Centralia and waited about 15 minutes. Salem has always been my favorite KFC. I hope this was was an exception and not the rule of how things are running there now.”
