“Stopped by on a whim and was very, very surprised. The outside is quite attractive with an outside eating area. The inside is nice and clean with plenty of seating. We ordered chips and salsa, Pollo with Mole, and the Steak Burrito Fajita. The chips are homemade (as expected) and very good. The chicken in the Pollo with Mole was super tender. The mole was rich. It came with homemade corn tortillas. The Steak Burrito is filled with fajita fillings, so steak, green and red peppers, and onions. The flour tortilla was filled and grilled giving the whole a nice smokey flavor. It was one of the very best burritos I have ever had. Look over my reviews. I have eaten a lot of burritos. They have a creamy salsa verde that is great, a very nice Roja sauce, and a hot sauce that is no joke hot. Our server was great and the whole experience was a great one. Will be back soon.“

There are friendly staff in a utilitarian diner, w entrances in front and in back. Easy to miss, but once you discover it, you'll be like the rest of us and keep coming back.“

“The food tastes good, though sometimes the sauce portions are a bit small, but if you ask, they’ll give you more. Prices are on the higher side. I usually stop by after grocery shopping at Whole Foods with my family when we feel a bit hungry. It’s a self-service kiosk, yet it prompts for tips. At first, I didn’t realize and added a few times, but honestly, if tipping is necessary, it should go directly to the chefs.“

“Very good hot dog; they really grill it until it is hot. A "Shroomer" made as a grilled chicken sandwich is good. The burger is good and I have ended up getting a kid's meal last time so that I can try to eat less meat. I am more of a light weight person anyway. The inside of the restaurant could be renovated. They are still in the real old Kooker's building with the same old tile floor that Kooker's restaurant had when I was in high school. It is over 20 years later now. I have been willing to go back to Happy Burger to get meals. The people at the front desk are nice. I do admit, though, sometimes I end up getting a burger for $3 at fast food drive-throughs. Happy Burger (HB) burger tastes more like a fresh made juicy burger when compared to the McDonald's on the other side of the street. HB fries are not bad but could be better because when the HB fries come up and go into a bag, I have found they were a bit wet.Wet fries is a common imperfection with Chicago-style grills.“

Its closer to home and now I don't have to drive all the way to west dundee to go to the original. great food, great service. everything always tastes so fresh and we've never had anything off the menu we didn't love. I can't wait for summer and hopefully they will have outdoor seating!“

“Good spot for a variety of food.
I stop by in here for their pizza. It's a thin crust and the largest size takes 12 min to make. 15 min if you ask for it extra crispy. 30 bucks. feeds 3 or 4 grown hungry men, depending. They say it's for more but I say my portions test might be more accurate.
You can ask them to slice it in a specific way. Bottled drinks around 3 dollars with the tax included. Overall if you're splitting the bill with 3 or maybe 4 other people you won't go over 13 ish dollars for pizza and drinks. Pizza is pretty good, staff is nice and if pizza isn't your thing they have alot of other options.“

“It is my best go to taco place? Sadly, another location had street corn ? but not in here. I had salad bowl and it is sooooo good! Love the edible bowl, so crispy and flavorful. Mixture inside harmony with some fresh veggies and meat! They have plenty of seats but also drive through✨✨✨“
