“This was our 2nd time visiting. The menu is very creative. We had starters, mains, and desserts. I had the chicken-fried chicken -- one of two comfort food entrees on the menu and it was fantastic! Served on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. My wife had the Italian sausage-stuffed pork chops, and my friend had the walleye. The wine list is broad and the server & owner take time to help each diner select the perfect one. I went the microbrew route and really enjoyed my lager. The best part of the meal, though, was the service. Mary fussed over us, made us laugh repeatedly, and suggested a handful of items we really enjoyed and wouldn't have otherwise tried. This simple Mom & Pop restaurant is actually quite sophisticated while at the same time being supremely casual.“

The GM and owner were great and so responsive during planning and the servers were excellent, patient, and helped us have a relaxing night (not rushing or pushing us out). I found the salmon oreganata a bit too salty for my taste; the rest of the food was all great. We wished there was better lighting and temperature control in the dining area (I was cold). From the time we sat, to the time our meals arrived was just short of 90 minutes. The Deer Park location is the better bet if you're going to go on a Friday or Saturday night.“

Tuscan Market is a great concept, a wine shop/bar which also serves a limited, but delicious woodfire pizza, sandwiches & charcuterie. My husband’s Italian beef was “one of the best he’s ever had “ while I enjoyed a GF sausage & goat cheese, pesto pizza! I highly recommend a casual night out coming for the wine selection, enjoying the entertainment & grabbing alittle dinner!
