“Forbidden noodles' primarily culinary focus is Japanese Ramen and stir fry selections. The curry is good and tastes very much like the mild golden ramen brand Japanese curry that I make at home occasionally. The chicken and broccoli added to the standard rice and carrot/potato curry mixture were of good quality. The Tonkotsu had very good pork, and surprisingly, it included broccoli as well. The more common ramen garnishes of onions, baby bock choy, egg, naruto (fish cake), and seaweed were also in this bowl and tasted good. They have a cheese, steak, and jalapeño egg roll that was amazing, and yes, you should try one. Forbidden Noodles is a great addition to downtown La Grange and for this area, this is a good choice for ramen in the area. “Went for the family dinner. It's a very intimate space as soon as you walk in. Ethan and staff are so friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with some crunchy thin beef jerky and a spicy sauce. Salmon rillete and fresh spring veggies, followed by an 18 hour crunch potato with tartare and roe (my favorite large bite) a nice scallop akin to me like an aguachile. A really earthy curry soup with fresh hers and sans coconut milk. Then came the fried chicken and sides. The fried chicken was every by as good as advertised with the nice flavor and my kee go to fried chicken sauce (lime and fresh black pepper). A nicely fried fresh fish followed by a huge ribeye. Closed off with a dulce de leche ice cream.It's been my meal of the year as of June 23. I have told everyone to try to secure the very difficult reservation. Well worth the wait“

“First time trying this place and I would go back again. I ordered the seasoned fries. They were very crispy and tasty. The seasoning was a bit different. I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp sandwich with extra shrimp. Absolutely delicious. It was not spicy but well seasoned. The arugula on the sandwich was a nice e compliment to the overall taste profile.“

This guy was terrific, and you can tell when people love what they do. We asked questions about the menu, and he answered like he was the kitchen chef and bang, we ordered exactly and made the best decision and don't forget the dessert we decided to order the one with banana and the coconut ice cream it was one of the best deserts a must if you come here and my hat goes out to Isaac for excellent service.Love this place and highly recommendedParking: Plenty space“

“Nice thai place in Lombard I went on ash weds as well as valentines day so I picked vegetarian dishes as i wasnt eating meat. I was really impressed at all the dishes everything was delicious and tasty. the service was super fast too we didn't wait that long and the waitress was friendly. it's more a pick up and go place however there are tables set up for 2 to 4 ppl within the restaurant and it's very cozy and clean inside. highly recommend this place I'll be back again.“

“This is a great place for maki rolls... The service was very good. I love the fact you ordered your food and it came to the table fresh, great concept for buffet. Abit of advice go hungry and with more the 2 people for the buffet. Going back soon to try other foods for sure.“

“First time trying this place. If I could give a 4.5 I would. The parking seemed limited. The staff were nice when I walked in, the food was already prepared and I arrived a little earlier than the expected preparation time which was nice. In my opinion the music was playing a little too loudly, but to each their own. The fish tasted fresh and the only thing I didn’t love was the sweet potato roll. I’m not a fan of the sweet potato chunks in tempura, makes for a weird texture. Other than that I would definitely recommend checking this place out.“

“We have gone her so many times. This place never disappoints us. The ladies are super nice. Food is served fast. They also pack the left overs for you. They also have vegetarian options.They have these super delicious almond cookies they give along with the fortune cookies.Thr decorations inside are unique and give a nice cozy look.Occasionally there are free music shows. One night there was Rod Stewart. We didn’t know about him, but we checked later. He is a celebrity of sorts.“

“combination chow mein is always good. Beef with vegetables, salt and pepper smelt and pork chop are very good. their orange chicken needs improvement. The pho is good too although they need to provide addled housing and chili when they serve.“

“Been here multiple times for the all you can eat sushi special and will definitely be coming back for more.I can only eat like two specialty rolls and some appetizers but find it still cheaper to do AYCE vs pay per each roll. If you can eat a lot more than it’s definitely worth it.They only offer the AYCE during lunch until 3pm and they don’t offer it on major holidays so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re coming here for that.Sushi is great and the staff is very nice and attentive. “This is the best chicken fried rice I've ever had. It tastes so authentic, fresh, and delicious. My wife and I crave this rice. Their orange chicken is great also. “I just had lunch at Toro Buffet at 4618 W Diversey in the shopping mall. It was the BEST buffet I have had in a long time. I mean excellent good!! Each option was well seasoned well and differently. “I've been going to Red Dragon for years. I first moved to Elmhurst back in 2009, and it quickly became my de facto Cantonese place. It's gone through a lot of changes over the years, but the current ownership/management is top notch. They treat my family like family every time we come in.The food is affordable and delicious and you can tell the people who are running that place care a great deal about it.Kid-friendliness: My kids absolutely adore Red Dragon. Not just because the food is delicious, but because the staff is always so kind to them when they come in. They have paper and crayons and have even displayed a drawing or two behind their counter.“
